I just installed the Martyr CMR03 zinc rudder anode during a bottom maintenance dive, and it’s a solid piece of gear. The anode is well-cast and fit right onto the rudder without any issues. The stainless hardware and retaining washers made it easy to mount underwater—everything locked in tight, no fumbling or dropped screws. From what I saw, the zinc is clean and heavy enough to last, and it sits flush on the rudder without creating drag. Compared to other brands I’ve worked with, Martyr holds up really well for the price. It gives me confidence that the rudder is getting proper protection against corrosion.
