Disappointing experience with Porta – no resolution after months of waiting

Our experience with Porta has unfortunately been extremely disappointing. We placed an order on January 16, 2025, but to this day, we have not been able to use the goods due to a defective part. Despite repeated contact and promises of repair, no concrete solution has ever been provided.

Over the course of several months, we received nothing but updates about delays and supply chain issues with their supplier. Eventually, we lost all trust in Porta. Neither Porta nor their supplier has shown any real accountability or customer care.

In short: a frustrating and exhausting experience. We cannot recommend Porta.

Don't have a kitchen yet but would like…

Don't have a kitchen yet but would like one? It's easier to dream than to put your dreams on paper. A few weeks ago, we stopped by the Porta Bergheim store on a whim, looked around, brainstormed... and luckily we met Ms. Klein. We started talking without making an appointment... and 3 hours later, with the plans for our dream kitchen, we said goodbye to Ms. Klein with complete satisfaction. We were impressed by Ms. Klein's helpfulness and professional preparation, with which she made our dreams a reality. Thank you for this on behalf of our entire family, Ms. Klein!

Haben sie noch keine Küche, hätten aber gerne eine? Es ist einfacher zu träumen, als seine Träume zu Papier zu bringen. Vor einigen Wochen sind wir spontan im Porta Bergheim Store vorbeigekommen, haben uns umgeschaut, gegrübelt... und glücklicherweise Frau Klein kennengelernt. Wir kamen ohne Terminvereinbarung ins Gespräch... und haben uns 3 Stunden später mit den Plänen unserer Traumküche rundum zufrieden von Frau Klein verabschiedet. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Hilfsbereitschaft und professionellen Vorbereitung von Frau Kleine, mit der sie unsere Träume wahr werden ließ. Vielen Dank hierfür im Namen unserer gesamten Familie, Frau Klein!

Ordered a bed, only obtained half of the material - no response from customer support

We ordered two beds from Porta online more than a month ago. Each bed consisted ot two packages. 3/4 packages were delivered quickly. The fourth package disappeared into the nirvana of GLS and porta’s customer hell. Whether you write an email or call them, nobody is taking responsibility or really tries to solve the issue. We have been running behind our bed ever since and now eventually gave up. We will never return to porta online and shall spread the word about their efforts to solve the issue.

The cherry on top: the same bed was available at multiple other stores (cheaper prices even) and we went with porta as we had made positive experience with their stores in the past.

More than 1 year since the contract and still kitchen is not done. Unefficient, unskilled team

I made a contract with Porta for our kitchen with quartz countertop and same quartz for backsplash too. It has been more than 1 year now and it's still incomplete. Our backsplash has been sent not once but thrice with incorrect measurements. How difficult is it to measure and cut the Quartz, my kids can measure it well too but apparently their experts in the field cannot. Now they come back for the fourth time after 7 months of installing the Quartz countertop, after 3 time incorrectly measured and cut, but this time with change in color and look of the Quartz. I have spent 20 + on this kitchen and 50% of the price is for the Quartz which they have completely messed up with. They say that the original material is now over and the new one does not match the countertop. Was it my fault that they wasted the original material by incorrect measurements and cut thrice? The joke is that they are offering me 500 euro discount if I accept this unmatched quartz for my backsplash with a 1 year delay and thrice incorrectly cut. I am so frustrated at the moment that I really want to cancel the contract and ask them to take their entire kitchen back. I would rather get my kitchen done from an efficient team of people who are professionals. I don't like this changed looking backsplash and I am furious as to what next now. Sharing my review here for awareness so that no one else has to go through such a painful experience like me ever again. Their customer support is terrible too and no one wants to ever respond, including the sales person who helped with design and plan. I regret choosing Porta for my kitchen big time. I wish I knew earlier how pathetic they are. I didn't want to ideally give any star to this store. Does not deserve anything at all.

Very bad customer service

I ordered a mirror cabinet for the bathroom.
which was well packed, during assembly I found that the parts were defective, the mirror doors can not be well installed, due to errors in the parts.

I have written a complaint and have also called the customer service. the staff promised me that the same day or at the latest a day after that they will contact me.
Until today I have no feedback and after many calls no one answers the phone.
I have never seen such very bad customer service as porta service.

Unbelievably terrible service

Unbelievably terrible service. We received only 3 of our 4 ordered chairs. All of them had some damage. Very long waiting times at customer service. We decided to send 1 of the most damaged chairs back and get 2 new ones. We only ever received 1 chair back, and then they were sold out of the chairs, leaving us with 3 instead of 4 chairs, looking completely ridiculous at our dinner table. You can expect only complete incompetence from this store. I doubt we will ever see our money back, let's see.

Very bad customer service.

Very bad customer service.
You call them and different agents tell you different rules. You have to be with them on the phone for hours.

600€ intem, wrong color, No answer from service

Wrong color of Dresser, 600€, asked the service via mail. Pictures showing different colors.

Getting a sorry mail back for been very busy. No answer since 16 days now.
