Please note that overloaded skips are the responsibility of the hirer. Skips must always be loaded level with the sides, as clearly stated on the skip, to ensure that our drivers can collect and transport them safely and in compliance with regulations.
I would, however, be happy to investigate your concerns further regarding the allegation that rubbish was left on the ground. This will allow us to identify what happened in this instance and establish the root cause of the issue you have reported.

Poor customer communication
Friendly and polite delivery drivers. Jago at customer services dealt with my complaint efficiently and finally organised our skip collection.
What should have been a very simple process in ordering a skip and having it collected, proved to be 8 phone calls on my part. The bottom line is that there was poor communication between the call centres and depots and no communication or updates to customers.This resulted in a poor customer service experience. Customers are expected to follow terms and conditions and so should Sortera.

However, we are sorry that your overall experience fell short of the standard you should expect from us. On this occasion, it is clear that we did not communicate effectively enough between our customer service teams, depot operations, and with you as our customer.
We fully appreciate how frustrating it must have been to make multiple calls to arrange what should have been a straightforward collection.
We are currently in our busiest period of the year, and while our teams are working extremely hard to support all our customers, we recognise that this can put additional pressure on our processes. Unfortunately, on occasions like this, we do not always maintain the level of communication and service we aim to provide. This is something we are actively working to improve.
Your feedback is valuable, and we will use it to review our processes and ensure we continue improving the way we communicate with customers during busy periods.

Disappointed so far - family doing up our own house
So far, out of the 5 skips/replacements, 3 have failed to show up on the date we booked. We are a family doing up our own home and have been so disappointed with service so far. Everyone very nice, but we hire labourers based on Sortera exchanging skips when they say they will. Causing us a lot of hassle.

Top draw service form beginning to end.
Top draw service from beginning to end. Refreshing to get such a great service. A very helpful man guided me through booking the skip online whilst on the phone to me! Legend. They were able to fit me in the next day for a wait and load (having been let down by another skip company who just didn’t turn up). There was a 4 hour window for delivery but on the day I got a text and then the driver called me about 10 mins before he arrived. He was so nice and helped me with some of the heavy bags, also a legend! They totally took the stress out of getting rid of an 8 yard skip load of rubble. I don’t plan on doing my front garden for another 20 plus years but if I need a skip in the meantime, I’ll be straight on the phone. Thank you!

Avoid them, when arriving on site they will not call you or use door bell like normal person, instead they will be using horn to disturb all residents around. Then on friday evening instead going home on time you will be waiting for their "wait and load" skip to be collected because driver decided to do another job meanwhile and left the skip in the middle of front gate so we can not shut the front gate and secure the site for the weekend. Worst experiance i ever had

Driver rude to woman, blocker her car
Their driver pulled up behind a woman who was trying to park outside her house. He blocked her manoeuvre and then got out the van and was rude to her. She was a woman with a toddler and the guy was aggressive then told her to move and put a skip outside her house. When asked he didn’t provide any documentation or permit for the skip and there was no parking suspension signs. Awful behavior - avoid!

Unpredictable and unorganised skip… just avoid!
Unpredictable and unorganised skip company. You expect Sortera after purchasing multiple skip companies in London to be huge and deliver skip in time but they are the worst.
I had 3 skips booked, and very limited time as is next day after the other one. Instead, they booked me for all-day when it was meant to just be morning as I won’t have time to fill a skip and than expect another one tomorrow.
Also they can’t do “anything” which basically means “we don’t care because you paid anyways so good luck buddy”.
You want unpredictable, unorganised and crap support team? Than Sortera is your one stop company to help you get there.
Just avoid, there are other skip company which would do a better job.
