The sounds are incredible! The legatos and spiccatos are awesome. The only downsides I noticed were 1) opening projects with 8-10 tracks of this took a hot minute, and then when the project was open it would take a few more minutes for all the tracks to work at the same time. It's worth the wait for me. 2) The dynamic levels on some of the tracks, especially the tremolos, weren't very smooth, but I guess I could work it out with some extra care on the expression. Other than that, the sounds are awesome and versatile! Thank you guys! God bless you!

Pristine sound, great playability, lots of options with articulations and great legatos, and whilst I have the core version without the plethora of extra mic positions, there is still a great deal of flexibility with the sound. Already made it's way into my essential instruments.

The sound is just Amazing. It hast two mic options available, the first one is for composing and get ideas ( less RAM usage, sounds "fine" ), the second one is for recording, wow what a sound!!!!!!!!!!! ( also it uses more RAM )

came across this product through you tube reviews, and was looking for solo strings, especially viola and double bass. made a decision on the core library with intension of a later date to purchase the pro library. so within the first week, outstanding product, the quality of the instruments are amazing, there are times that I feel like the instruments are right near me, I can here everything, the sound of wood and bow, everything stands out, exceptional library and very impressed with the purchase, looking forward to the upgrade to pro in a month or two. great work spitfire.

Love the sounds. My issue is , since it no longer runs in kontakt it appears that I am unable to get multiple outs with one instance of the player. Any way around this?

Amazing sound! Sometimes the bowchange on long notes not helpful, but that’s not really a problem.
