It has significantly improved the sound of my instruments. Excellent.
There is a lot to get to grips with here and I am sure I have barely scratched the surface, but already it is a huge boost to the sound I am able to get. My main reasons for buying it were: 1) To improve on the quality of reverb I can get from Logic Pro, as the reverb plug-ins bundled with it are not nearly this good. 2) To unify instruments bought from different sources, by using their dry samples and then sending them through this plug-in to put them into the same sound space. I got both of those advantages, and there is more to come as I learn how to get the best out of it. AIR Studios Reverb Essentials is superb, yes I recommend it to anyone who wants some really high quality reverb.

One of my attractions to some of Spitfire's libraries is that they're recorded at AIR studio. I would try to imagine what it would be like to record in the fabled hall, and without the wherewithal I knew it would only ever be a dream. Not any longer! This amazing reverb gives you a total immersive experience, as if you were there. It is now my go to Reverb and highly recommend it. Thank You Spitfire team!
Giving it a 4 ONLY because I could not use it extensively... I just pulled it in on a couple of instruments, and it seems very complex but also easy to use. With what I saw, I am sure that if I play longer with it, it would get a 5, but just don't know if there are pitfalls, so for now it gets a 4. Sorry folks...
This is a great reverb. Feels like a great privelege to have access Air Studios beautiful hall. The reverb is intuitive to use and sounds absolutely top draw. At half price this was a great bargain. Quite fancy the full fat version.

It boggles my mind that for such a cheap price, I can place my digital recordings in AIR Studios - but here we are. The control that this reverb gives you is practical without descending into a level of detail that a sound engineering degree would require to decipher, and the result is outstanding. This might be the best reverb out there.

Amazing product for the price! Such a beautiful sounding room and easy to work with placing your instruments. Nice wealth of presets to listen to and figure which works best for your situation. I was using another room modeling verb and had to swap it for this one because I had run into so many audio anomalies. It is so nice this one both positions and includes sound radiation and direction. Super cool. Two things I wish for though: Although I don't have access to the Pro controls, I would like to be able to see how they are affecting the presets in this version so I can compensate for some things it is doing without having to guess or test for things. Similar to how I can see the room config and canopy but not control them. Secondly, a couple presets need to be ironed out or bugs to be fixed because I sometimes notice the sound either centering or most/all of the radiation coming from the right side of the room no matter where I move my instrument puck. Aside from those two things I have never once had this plugin crash in Pro Tools despite several instances and again, it is so beautiful and fixed several blending problems I was running into with some of my projects. I highly recommend this verb for any composition work! It is quite versatile despite the classic 'wetness' associated with Lyndhurst. You can get both sweet short and dry tails out of this thing or long and heavenly church-type tails.
Great thing, for a very reasonable price I can mix my orchestral arrangements as never before, positioning every instrument where it needs to be. I have a Mac Intel, and it works, but the cpu works a lot. As soon as I get the new M4 chip, I'll be ready for the air studio, bur now it's great working too, with the essentials. I would certainly recommend it to my musician friends.
