Product details

Brand: Spitfire Audio

We have harnessed the power of four different orchestral sections to release the beastly power of strings, brass, and woodwind. Move seamlessly from a quintet of solo players performing at the softest level, right up to a full symphonic orchestra playing at full pelt — all in the same instrument. Featuring 30 essential articulations, the library ~6GB enables you to achieve new levels of expression by controlling both dynamics and the number of players simultaneously, giving you incredible focus, texture, and magnitude — an imagined aperture in sound.

Gives great boost for albion one sound set. Nice sound combinations can be made. Inspiring and great library.

I'm having problem with this product, and requested support. and been waiting for 5 days without a response. I've purchased and installed it and still can't find it in my list of Spitfire librairies or in Kontakt so I can't review this one

Very useful in classical composing and would like more patches added in the future!

Along with the excellent Aperture Strings this new Aperture Orchestra gives me, as a composer, an excellent tool for sketching ideas. Much of the time I create a 'piano roll' at the beginning of the composition, this is a tried and tested technique used by so many composers. But, once in a while, it is good to start from a different place. These layered ensemble instruments are just great for kickstarting ideas. And I am sure that, as I get more familiar with the range of possibilities within the instrument, these Orchestral patches will find their way into the actual scores. I have already used several patches from the Aperture Strings library in my current score to great effect. The Pinhole patches are particularly good, especially the ensemble Pizzi strings and the trems, which are just great for adding little notes of tension. Hopefully Spitfire will produce more instrument sets like these. Marks out of 10. . . . Charles Olins Paris, March 2024

Aperture Orchestra is an addition to my Symphonic Motions which blend well together. I like Aperture Orchestra a lot, but do find it a bit finicky. I have a very capable Operating System which is finely tuned for composing and mastering music. I wish that all patches had the auto velocity dynamics, though an on/off switch would be good for the same reason. There is a Kontak 7 script complaint which needs addressing, but it's a beautiful library none the less.

Aperture Orchestra is one of the most out of the box easy to use pre orchestrated fantasy library you can get! The library contains Strings, Brass and Woodwinds instruments. All the articulations are sampled and orchestrated together for maximum control over velocity, expression and breadth of sound. This means you get evenly matched samples across your score. Creating plush patterns, evolving sonic ripples and dynamic overtures are easy with Aperture Orchestra. This library lends itself to multiple genres including medieval fantasy, modern adventure and trailer music.
