Too perfect and free for beginners in orchestral music
Good but crashes sometimes.
Installation was easy without complications. No compatibility issues with Reason from ReasonStudios. Sound quality of the vst plugins is very realistic.
Very good.
Only just started using this, and also very new to DAWs and sound production, but I have found this download awkward to work around. More time spent might alleviate that.
Does not work on linux

this is a product that really exceeds expectations. I own a few libraries, spitfire and from other vendors and this one is quite an exceptional deal. no just because its free but because it really has everything you need in a very compact format. I think something like this was available back when i was just getting started, so being able to just install a compact but power packed library really met my needs where installing big libraries wasn't really an option or what i needed. so for that they truly deserve some praise.
I am loving using the BBC Symphony Discover as plugin with Reaper. It is enhancing my mixes and allowing me to start simple scoring.
BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover is a great free orchestral library. The sounds are clean and inspiring, and the interface is very easy to use. Perfect for quick sketches and learning orchestration. Very happy with it
The sounds are fantastic but as far as I can tell there is a limited range of octaves available. I can't use all 61 keys on my MIDI controller. Most of them are grayed out onscreen and make no sound when the keys are pressed. Transposing up and down doesn't have any affect. I may be missing something so I'm going to look it up to be sure.
Well its a very good sound library with more than enough customisation even in the unpaid version, I'd say. I think with enough experience, it's fully possible to make fully accurate, barely distinguishable covers of orchestral pieces as well as using it for personal work.
