Union Chapel Organ is amazing. There are various sounds (stops) and the possibility of combinations of sounds is almost infinite. All sounds are fascinating. Also 4 mic positions and the interface of stops (like manipulating a real pipe organ) explore the possibility. In playing it, I can feel both profound and individual thing simultaneously in terms of sound. If I can request something about this product, I want more various sounds (stops). In using this product, I think I want to manipulate sounds more precisely and meticulously.

I Love the sounds of this and the many things you can do with it. I find it easy to use.
great sounding pipe organ!
Beautiful sounding there.
Absolutely love this. Well worth it.
Really a great product ! The sound is amazing, very well produced. In terms of a "massive" cathedral organ, I don´t think this is the best solution. In fact this is as the name says: a Chapel Organ. For the soft and meditative sound of an european chapel it's simply perfect, I didn't know a better instrument. Related to pipe organs, don't think you will have only one instrument - the "best" one - it's not a good strategy. There are some good libraries in the market and they all sound different between them. Is the same when you visit different churchs.. The organ at Notre Dame in Paris can't be compared to the one at Saint Chapelle, there are completely differente ambient and, thus different sounds and athmospheres.. In summary, for an incredible chapel organ, UCO is a must in any library.
This is a really powerful sample pack, its a little fiddly at first, but its a product that starts off paper thin, then you add a texture, and then another texture, and then another. Eventually its everything you want from an Organ - power, air, depth and so many layers that you can add at your leisure.
Very nice sounding organ library! Install was easy and the library itself is easy to use!
Ive been testing quite a few Pipe Organs, but I was most impressed by the Spitfire Audio Union Chapel Organ. Very organic sounding organ, with a simple and clear interface and an easy to use multi-mic setup, for all manuals together, or each manual on its own. And next to the basic organ interface, theres a synth option, where you can use a more synth-like environment, where you can add filters and effects. Beautifully recorded samples, lots of options and easy to work with.
Love the sound and stops available. Perfect for my needs.
Great sounds and value for money I found the eDNA fx sounds not very useful for my work. I prefer more presets for traditional organ sounds rather then modulated one.
Beautiful recordings and library integrated into an easy to use user interface in Kontakt
The Union Chapel Organ is a beautifully sampled instrument. If you play the organ and know how to register it, then you'll have no problem using the UCO. However, if you're a newbie to the organ and don't want to learn organ registration, you might prefer Spitfire's Symphonic Organ, which offers curated registrations made by professional organists. However, anyone willing to learn about even the basics of organ registration can achieve wonderful results with the UCO. It sounds best (most realistic) when you use multiple mic positions to emulate the numerous reflections the instrument elicits in a real acoustical space. I only wish Spitfire had sampled all 37 stops of the actual Union Chapel Organ. The stops they did sample are beautiful, but light on reed-work. I wish they had sampled a bit more of the organ's reed-work. The Great has one trumpet and one clarion, which appear among Spitfire's sampled stops. However, in addition the actual organ contains a Corno di Bassetto (8') in its Choir, as well as trumpets (8') and clarions (4') in both its Choir and Swell. Without these, it's difficult to use the Swell to achieve a reedy timbre, although having the Mixture stop helps somewhat in this regard. The advantage to having these in the Swell is to have samples that can crescendo and decrescendo naturally. Nonetheless, Spitfire Audio has produced one of my favorite sample libraries in the Union Chapel Organ, one that I've already used in four projects, and one that just shines straight out of the box. Highly recommended!
Fantastic!
Excellent sound and product. Choice of stops is top notch. Will rather have it as a Kontakt library format
A bit pricey for what it is
The Union Chapel Organ library has many good things to write home about. It is the only Kontakt-based organ sample library that I know of and it does a good job of making the famed Henry "Father" Willis Organ come alive, especially with the addition of a aftermarket reverb on the close mic or turning on more microphone positions for extra space. I would wish though that the key switches in the samples were toggle-based so that activating the keyswitches would toggle the activation of the stop and keep it on or off according to the toggle. I also wish that the library showed up in the main window of kontakt as a library instead of having to search for the library and saving it as a location preset in kontakt's file browser. Other than the above, it is an excellent kontakt library with a warm lush sound of Henry "Father" Willis's organs, this organ being one of only two organs of his time remaining in all of Britain.
The sound is incredible - just what I was looking for. I'd prefer a slightly more user-friendly UI, but this is a very minor quibble for an excellent sample library.
Super delicate and detailed organ!!
As always with a Spitfire product, it’s the sound (..and usability) of the room that really sets this apart.
