Very disappointed. I had HD25 for last eight years, amazing sound, but after a long life everything on them was worn out. Have replaced them with the HD25 light based on reviews saying they were just as good quality. They are not. The bass is rubbish, the high end is screechy and there is terrible distortion at high volume. Don’t buy.

My first pair of Sennies lasted nearly 20 years. Top quality build and sound. Hopefully Version 2 last just as long.

Excellent refresh of original SP version. Drivers are indeed upgraded and sound identical to my regular HD25-II. Headband has a decent snug fit with good isolation.

I have always got great gear from you guys. but these HD 25 lights are the pits,I wanted an open ear phone for studio work,and these things put in an igloo.horrible for radio.I really wanted something like my last pair HD415's perfect ,but I was told they don't have a updated version.I have wasted my money,and I will have to try something else,disappointed,but my own fault.Thanks anyway'Terry 'Tecka' Iredale
