I love Apple laptops, and this device has quickly (if unsurprisingly) become my new favorite. The M1 Max processor lives up to the hype—file actions happen faster, Photos app feels way better, managing and connecting external displays is much smoother—the list goes on. In terms of display quality, the Pro Motion display makes a bigger difference than I expected, and is gorgeous to behold. The body of the device is possibly the first time Apple has made a new laptop noticeable thicker, but the way they did it, I'd argue it makes the device feel more like the powerful "Pro" device that it is (even so, it's still thinner than a lot of other laptops). While I purchased it second-hand, it was nearly indistinguishable from a new product (in my case, I even got the original box).
