After 3.5 years of reliable use, it was time to replace my 1+ 9 Pro, and this 1+ 12R with 16GB of RAM in pristine condition was exactly perfect. I expected it to be somewhat sub-par, but it does dual band WiFi Acceleration which my 9 Pro didn't do right, and it has a far superior cellular modem and antennas, pulling an extra bar of signal and staying connected places my 9 Pro would normally disconnect... It, most importantly, gets an amazing 11 hours plus of screen on time in a 24 hour work day, having 30% battery remaining, which should mean it lasts for at least 3 years before it won't last a full work day. Being an R, the screen is between 1080 and 1440 pizels wide, but it does brilliant @ HDR 10+, and the peak brightness means it's perfectly usable in full brighness sunlight. Auto-brightness works better than any flagship Inhave had in the last 10 years. I got lucky, and the .841 update to Android 15 became available 3 days after my device arrived, and it looks like updates in the USA have all been within about 2 weeks of the China updates, so it is well supported for updates. Couldn't be happier for what I paid.
