An extremely interesting trip, we made a few alterations to the schedule which were easy to sort. The sleeper train is quite basic but all part of the experience! We took walking tours at each city and it was very interesting to have a local’s view of the changes in society.

TMR produced a great itinerary for a 18-day European railway holiday, starting at London St Pancras and with first hotel stop-over being in Berlin and then further East to Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna, Dresden and Nuremburg. Tickets arrived a good 2 weeks before commencement. Some problems caused by exceptional flooding and related line maintenance - but all resolved. I like the way the team checked the itinerary was still workable and their solutions. Very good hotels.
