The whole system is set up beautifully and I’ve really enjoyed my experience

I’m loving the course. So detailed and the assignments are really fun and practical. It’s setting me up nicely for basic skills required to get started in the interior design industry.

This is an amazing education, I have ever got. the assigment are well explained and it even gives an examples to make it easy to understand. Staff are quick to reply when you need support. I was going to spend more money for college but IDI saved my time and finance. I am very greatful for this education platform and i can't wait to complete and start my dream.

The price is very affordable. I'm not sure there is an option of having in person interaction with our tutors. Maybe have in person classes/workshops held for a week so we can plan to travel and attend.

The feedback from the tutors on my assignments are very helpful, it helps me understand what I have done wrong and what I could have done. The notes and course are very fun to do it keeps me entertained and it makes learning a lot more fun

I really like how the modules are structured, and I always enjoy working on my assignments.

I like that there is a lot of educational information, but I would like more instructional videos or examples to delve deeper into the design itself.

I have enjoyed everything I have learned so far. Some assignments have pushed me out of my comfort zone and that is whats needed to grow. I'm excited to get into the fun stuff! The price for this was also something my husband and I thought was appropriate for what you learn and I enjoy being able to do self paced and submitting assignments is easy and when its graded you get an email notification.

I love the organization of the content. Each module builds on the last to give you a well rounded and all inclusive experience. The assignments are a great way to learn the steps taken with clients in the field. I love this program. The feedback my tutor Helen provides is positive and constructive! I am learning so much and being challenged with each assignment.

I've been studying with The Design Institute and just finished Module 3. So far I've been really impressed.The course material is well put together and easy to follow, even when the topics get more technical.The modules build on each other nicely and i feel like i'm genuinely learning skills i can use.

Studying with The interior design institute has been great for me helping me build my confidence as I change careers. Interior design has been my passion for a really long time and the option to study online gives me the flexibility I need so I'm not compromising other aspects of my life.

I am currently working through the Interior Design Institute program, and so far I have been incredibly impressed.

One of my biggest concerns before enrolling was that the material might feel repetitive compared to books, podcasts, and independent research I had already done on interior design. Instead, I found the modules to be thorough, engaging, and comprehensive. Each module includes a PDF packed with information, followed by a hands-on assignment that allows you to apply what you’ve learned in a practical way.

As a stay-at-home mom, I have especially appreciated the flexibility of the program. I’ve been able to build designated study and work times into my schedule and continue making steady progress. While there is a 12-month timeframe to complete the course, I actually appreciate having that accountability. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that extensions are available if life happens, and purchasing an advanced module automatically includes a 6-month extension.

One of my favorite aspects of the program is having a real tutor who grades assignments and answers questions. My tutor has consistently been helpful, encouraging, and thoughtful with her feedback. The tutors and student support team have been extremely responsive, often replying within 24 hours or less.

I would highly recommend purchasing the SketchUp Advanced Module before starting Module 4. The SketchUp training is presented through short, step-by-step videos that are easy to follow. I am not particularly tech-savvy, but I have been able to work through the lessons successfully and build confidence using the software.

For anyone curious about the tools I’ve used throughout the program, I’ve worked with Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, SketchUp, and Voice Dream. Microsoft Edge has also been especially helpful for reading and annotating the course PDFs.

Perhaps the most important thing I can say is that this program has already increased my confidence as I prepare to enter the interior design field professionally. The combination of comprehensive course material, practical assignments, supportive tutors, and flexible learning has made me feel much more prepared for the next step in my career.

I am currently starting Module 6 and plan to update my review once I complete the program. At this point, I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to learn through the Interior Design Institute. The quality of the content, tutor support, flexibility, and practical assignments have provided tremendous value, and I feel the program has been well worth the investment.

If you’re considering interior design education and need a flexible online option, I would absolutely recommend this course.

The Course is straightforward and it serves the full purpose in understanding Interior Design Concepts and I get to study at my own pace and my Tutor is very understanding and professional.

I really enjoyed the courses offered by the Interior Design Institute. Everything is explained clearly and in a way that makes it easy to follow and understand. I’ve also learned so much from my instructor, who is very knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help me improve.
My only wish is that there were more video lessons or in-person classes available, as I think that would make the learning experience even better. Other than that, I highly recommend these classes to anyone who is passionate about design and wants to develop their skills!

I'm currently finishing the module 12 assignment . I've thoroughly enjoyed my studies with IDI. It's been a straightforward curriculum to follow and the IDI facebook page has been a great additional tool to use to get support and guidence from other IDI students.

My experience with IDI has been great so far. The module content is clear, engaging and easy to follow, along with the videos explaining in more detail.

The tutor support and feedback have also been very helpful, and I feel encouraged to keep learning and developing my skills. Being able to work through the course at my own pace while balancing work and family commitments has been a great help.
