This is a nice shirt and looks nice on. The only issue is that it is so thin. With darker colors, a woman can still wear it, and it may be appropriate. I got one in blue, and it is fine even though it is easy to see the straps of my undergarment through it. However, I also got one of these in a light gray and my undergarments can be seen through it relatively easily in certain lighting. I bought it for work and can't wear it without an undershirt, which is a strange look for a polo. So the lighter shirt is almost worthless. Through this experience, I've learned to only buy shirts where the weight of the material is specifically listed and is substantial enough to not cause show-through.
