Great gift and lovely story about my nephew and his dog. I hope he cherishes this forever and knows how much his aunt loves him!
The story is really great and I love the ability to personalize. The only downside is that the dog type illustration is limited. They had “labradoodle” &“goldendoodles” as an option but both were the same illustration as a poodle which was a bit of a bummer as typically doodles have the face of the lab or golden- they don’t typically have that poodle poof on top of their head but that’s what all the oodle illustrations have. I got the book in memory of my ESA which was a goldendoodle with gold/orange coloring and would have liked something that more closely resembled her in illustration and colorings. Other than that the book is fantastic and I so appreciate it. It’s helped me bridge a gap with my toddler who doesn’t quite comprehend where our dog went but that she’s still in our hearts. I would love to buy an animal memorial option in the future.
