Excellent book and excellent service
The assembly of the product was haphazard. The inside cover paper arrived with a large wrinkle in it. Somebody had to have noticed this and didn't care. This was a very expensive book and should not have arrived in any way short of perfect. Also, the articles featured in the book have such small print, it is literally impossible to read them without a very strong magnifying glass. I would not recommend this product.

We're sorry to hear that you weren't completely satisfied with your Newspaper Book. The newspapers featured in our books are reproduced from original historic archives, and many older publications were printed with naturally very small text and intricate layouts to fit as much news as possible onto each page.
While we carefully enhance and restore the scans where we can, we also aim to preserve the authenticity of the original newspapers. As a result, some pages may appear small, grainy, or less sharp than modern printed materials, particularly for older editions.

Nice gift, just wish they had more newspaper options. Would have liked a Boston Globe or New York Times

Some pages are very blurry and hard to read. I’d call it decent, but very overpriced for the quality. Wouldn’t buy again.

We strive to clean up the scans, but some older microfilms may still appear grainy or pixelated due to past technology limitations.

Loved the concept for my 95 year old father. The newsprint is microscopic on each page…,very different from what is shown in the FB video ad.

Accordingly the book was conceived not as a collection of fully readable articles, but as a collection of headlines posted by the chosen newspaper on your birthday across the years - hence the name of the product, 'Your Life in Newspaper Headlines'.

Beautiful book good quality
The product was sent directly to our recipient so we never saw it but he was very happy with it. He sent a pic of the cover and it looked lovely. We paid a good bit to send it express. We were told it would be there by the 31st of July which would have been perfect. That did not happen and it didn’t get there until August 4th. I was very disappointed.

So great with the extended chapters!

Quickly looking at it, I noticed not all pages are from 9/26 (my mothers birthday), one page is an advertised for the Daily News instead of the front page and the binding is all rippled.
