Competitive price for Dover/ Calais crossing. Had to change the car I was taking, only the day before, and this was done free of charge. Ferry left right on time. Clean and tidy on board and greeted by friendly staff. Excellent!
The boat we sailed on is showing its age. There is no comfortable lounge seating. Didn’t eat on board as the food is expensive.
Ferry clean and ok, smooth boarding/offboarding and ran on time. Our only issue was AFerry.com says you can carry up to 30l of extra fuel in Jerry cans, but Irish Ferries said NO EXTRA fuel so we had to dump it off site and then go through the check in process again.
All very good but we were asked to pay extra, as we arrived early and wanted an earlier ferry. Which I understand is my choice but it makes no difference to the company which ferry we were on..especially as the ferry was even a1/3 full. 👍
very long resolution time
On my return I arrived on time in Calais (just more than 1 hour prior to departure). I heard the check staff say to a colleague that the ferry was overbooked. She told me I was on a later ferry as I should have arrived 1 hour before departure (I had). So I had to wait a couple of hours to get on the next one. Not happy at all

Nothing to o dislike. I was pleased with the whole experience.
Bit late but not badly if I can say like that. The only one thing that is extremely annoying is the fact that people are allowed to lie down on the sofas, take so much space and not being to told to not to do that which makes less space for the others, you come with a family (it was five of us) and it was hard to found a place to sit because of other travellers sleeping on every sofa by the windows.
Hassle free trip
Would have been 5 stars all the way but the ferry was delayed 45 mins - used the club lounge and the breakfast was excellent.
On time, staff were friendly, breakfast bap was horrid, but all in all.the trip was great value for money.
