YOU CAN NOT MAKE THIS UP,Ruby energy have gone silent on me ever since i questioned why a BACS payment hasnt come off me bill,not a zip,nothing and its been 5 days now and the bill is due to be paid by 22/05/2026.i predict that i will then get a bill probably on the Monday with a £50 late charge,and still no BACS payment showing,Also if i had not seen it with my own eyes i would not of believed it.The previous tenant that i took over from had their final bill of £0.91, so 91 pence.within 24hours they revieved an email saying if its not paid within 24hrs ot will go to a debt collector and have £50.00 added as late payment,picture this.your away or have no access to emails,could even be in hospital etc,etc,then you get contacted from a debt collector saying a £0.91p bill has been handed to them,probably with a charge of say £175.00 plus a £50.00 late charge.Who can honestly see that and think that sits right with them.no wonder Ruby Energy is under so many investigations.moral corrupt to the core

I had a very positive experience and was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Mustapha. He was professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the whole process. Everything was handled efficiently with excellent communication and support. I truly appreciate the outstanding customer service and would highly recommend Mustapha to others.

From my personal experience as a small business owner, I would really advise businesses to stay away from this company. They seem really supportive at the beginning to win your business. However, we have had a really bad experience with them for the following reasons:
1. Their charges are calculated annually, and they do not advise or look to adjust your DD at any time, meaning you run up a very large bill despite submitting monthly readings.
2. They obsessively call you for meter readings despite monthly submissions (up to 8 calls a day at times).
3. When I raised a complaint through customer services and asked them to stop calling for meter readings, and that we would submit via our online account. The advisor called back 2 hours later, asking if she could now close the complaint, to which I replied Not until I see the change and do not receive any calls'.
4. When we left recently, having given the notice period, we requested a final bill, which we have only received today 21.05.2026 having left on 13.03.2026 we were given a massive bill to pay with addiitonal charges on top for late payment despite advisors logging our calls throughout March, April, and May 2026 requesting a copy of our final invoice, which was not displayed on our online account.
5. We received continuous automated emails throughout April 2026 saying we were in debit, but we did not receive a final invoice or explanation of the energy used.
6. The customer service is exceptionally poor.
Please stay away, there are plenty of other energy suppliers that offer a far better service.

Stay away from this company
This energy company has been a complete nightmare. They put me on the wrong contract from the start, leading to outrageous overcharging. After weeks of back and forth, It's clear they don't value their customers, and their incompetence has put my business at serious risk. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.
