Center Parcs France Reviews 

We booked through the website for the Center Parks les hauts des bruyers, a premium cottage for 6 persons for 1 week in July 2022. What they did not tell while booking, is that the cottage would be 5 km from the entrance and we'll have to do it by feet every day, with 3 tired kids. We had to pay for the scooter, but it was not working after 30 min. The hotel was filthy: carpets were old; paint peeling of the handrail, no lift, the bed we paid for as an extra bed in the room was a sofa and was too short to be a bed. The pillow that was given for the bed was a cushion, covered with a pillow case, the room had a strange and bad odor, the toilet was dirty, there were no blankets for the spare bed.

Horrific. Booked a villa for 10 at Village Nature. Ants crawling all over the beds. Lock broken so expected to climb through the window to get in. Filthy. No air conditioning. Employees refused to do anything. Had to leave. Cannot speak to management and noone picking up the phone. Avoid at all costs.

Paid their most expensive insurance cancellation and they won’t refund any money back. The UK government restricted travels to France forcing many people to cancel their trip. Center Parc doesn’t care their insurance won’t pay back and that I’m losing 4K.

18 months of chasing for a refund promised by Center Parcs. Emails are ignored, calls are repeatedly fobbed off by call handlers, told to fill in online forms that never get replied to. Even my travel insurers have had to threaten legal action and they still don’t care. I used to holiday regularly with Center Parcs - never again!

I am finding it impossible to make contact on the phone number on your website. It is constantly engaged. Is there any email address anyone can provide in order to change my booking?

We have been waiting for a refund for over six weeks now - emails get answered with a generic response and the contact centre, whilst unfailingly polite, seem to have no idea either. They all just promise that the money will be refunded. - I am now taking it up with my credit card company instead under section 75 as no money seems to be forthcoming from Centerparcs.

Update - finally got a full refund after threatening Section 75, but ended up waiting over 9 weeks for it. Rating upgraded to 2 stars, but we won't be using Centerparcs for a holiday again

I requested a refund well within the terms and conditions. My emails on a daily basis are simply ignored most of the time and when they are answered these are generic emails that do not relate to my request. Speaking with an agent is just as infuriating, everyone has a different set of rules and advises to contact someone else.

Just a mess, doesn't bode well for the future of the company.

Great experience during a week, but at the end we discovered there were bed bugs in our bed !! When we told the company they didn't care, and we had to store all our luggages in our cellar during... one year and a half because these insects can live a lot of time without food... Avoid Center Parcs !

Belle expérience pendant une semaine, mais à la fin nous avons découvert qu'il y avait des punaises de lit dans notre lit !! Quand nous avons informé le personnel ils s'en fichaient, et nous avons dû stocker toutes nos valises dans notre cave pendant... un an et demi parce que ces insectes peuvent vivre très longtemps sans nourriture... Evitez Center Parcs !
