If there was a 6th star I would give it. Stephen Mellor from Roberts Crossley solicitors who were the appointed solicitors on behalf of Conveyancing Warehouse was exemplary from start to finish. I negotiated a good fee with his colleague which was 10% less than the lowest other quote of a good rated conveyancing website. You sometimes dont know who you are going to get when you buy from these centralised websites but i felt confident with conveyancing warehouse as they came very highly review rated. I also paid the expediting fee on top to get a faster service and it was worth every penny. Stephen was proactive from the very beginning, nudging me and the housing association along at every stage. He was on it without fail, pushing for documentation, sending reminders and working seamlessly with the housing association staircasing officer (buying extra equity in my property from the housing association). Near to the initial deadline to complete I unfortunately had to delay the purchase a few weeks and he kindly parked the transaction with no extra fee incurred. I accidentally overpaid by a few pence and he even caught that and deducted it from the second payment. Stephen chased down the housing association relentlessly on completion day to ensure I was kept updated with such a large amount of funds being transferred and was a consummate professional to the very end, even tho I had already paid the invoice, he kept on pushing the housing association along to avoid their tardy bureaucratic excuses. With solicitors getting such a bad wrap - this was refreshing to know that there are some really honest people out there with ethics and integrity in this dog eat dog world. We picked up the phone to one another a few times where emails were not the best way to communicate and Stephen was always responsive, good natured and a pleasure to deal with. I would unhesitatingly recommend Stephen and Roberts Crossley to anyone considering any aspect of conveyancing and will be keeping their details on record for any other legal requirements in the future. A first class, professional company with high integrity and ethics. What an amazing experience!

We absolutely made the right choice using Roberts Crossley Solicitors, and in particular Will Mellor , who was our Conveyancer throughout the process.

Will was always available, either by email or via a quick call, for all of our questions and queries. This was invaluable as obviously we're not legal experts and don't sell our house every day !

There's a lot of jargon and ambiguous content, which was a bit daunting at times, but Will was ready to help whenever needed , without being patronising to us.

His advice was always take your time and read things carefully before writing anything, as most of the time we knew the answers but maybe not the way the legal system likes to use 10 words for every 1 actually needed !!!

The overall time between accepting the offer on our house and completion was only 3 & 1/2 months, which is unbelievably quick these days and could've been quicker but for last minute holdups at the other end of our chain.

This was no fault of ourselves or Will, who assured us both it would be fine , considering it's definitely up there with the most stressful things you have to deal with, especially with the heat thrown in aswell getting ready for our move !!!

We knew from the outset we had a fixed price for their services (Less additional costs for essential requirements in the process) which was really helpful in budgeting, along with Estate Agent fees and Removals/Storage.

We can't thank Will and Roberts Crossley enough for easing us through this massive upheaval and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their own house!
