I visited during this last heatwave when my mother's fridge broke. She is 91 and has dementia so it was imperative that we get a new fridge as fast as possible for her, and the live-in carer.
Eamonn listened and understood both what we needed and the budget/time limitations we had. A new fridge was chosen, delivered and installed a couple of days later.
Really lovely people, so easy to deal with, very very helpful and super reliable too. Can't recommend them enough. Thanks Eamonn!!

Brendan in Tullamore was very helpful in finding the dishwasher we wanted. He arranged for one to be delivered from another branch and sorted home delivery/installation too. He offered sound advice on a stick vacuum too so we bought it even though we didn’t go to the store with this intention. Great service from Brendan

Friendly staff

Fourteen months ago we purchased a HAUER washing machine from DID Electrical in Lucan. Since then, a steel ring around the door opening liner has come loose four separate times, each incident causing significant flooding in our utility room. The water has seeped under the adjoining stud partition and beneath the timber floor in the next room.
We now have a persistent mouldy smell throughout the house, and we’ve had to spend over €600 on two dehumidifiers in an attempt to dry out the affected areas. The timber floor has warped and discoloured from the water damage, and the adjoining room is still not fully dry.
We have been engaging with DID Lucan for several weeks. Yesterday we purchased a new washing machine, and to be fair, the team did discount the cost of the faulty HAUER machine from the price. However, we are now facing thousands of euro worth of damage to our home as a direct result of this recurring fault. The staff advised that they could not assist with the damage and suggested submitting a formal complaint.
DID, we are asking for your help. The repeated failure of this appliance has caused extensive and costly damage to our home, and we would appreciate support in resolving this properly.

Installation was done speedily by an extremely competent and friendly gentleman. Delighted with my new Indesit washing machine and an absolute bargain at the price; €325.25 including removal of existing appliance, delivery and installation of new machine. Hihgly recommend D.iD.
