I purchased a thomas sabo bracelet for my wife on xmas day, literally on the 27th december whilst doing her makeup the bracelet fell of her wrist having snapped. With this bracelet only being 2 day in use and with there being ni excessive force or misuse involved in this we decided to return this to the crewe store. The crew store staff seemed un interested only pointing out that the bracelet had been caught because the was avtiny amount of red fluff that you could only see through a spy glass in the links. They could only offer a paid repair which woumd have cost me half as much fkr the bracelt again. Upon me pointing out that the bracelet must obviously wasnt robust enough for normal use the member of staff looked through her spy glass again pointing out that there was more of this red fluff in other links too. Now im not stupid so realise in hindsite this item could have been insured and maybe if my wife bought it herself it probably would off, but the purchase was a last minute gift from me and i must admit i thought your staff would have been a little more forgivng as the item was only worn fir 2 days under normal circumstances whilst wearing normal clothes the item wasnt yrars, months or weeks old it was 2 days. I thought your staff in the crewe store were less than helpfull only wanting me to purchase a repair, im sure that you will back your staff in this matter as they were clearly running from a script. But i can assure you that i will never use ernest jones again and i will ensure that everyone i speak too personally will hear about my experience and your unhelpfull and unforgiving staff.

I purchased a bracelet for a gift .
However, the box the bracelet was placed in look rather disappointing.
It appears with two small hole for earings and the bracelet was loosely place , not nice for a gift.
Customer service disappointing the assistant appeared "fed up" , she didn't even say good morning or thank you after the purchase. She appeared more interested in selling insurance.
Overall, disappointing

Bought a replacement wedding ring for my wife which was £400. I payed £250 on sale. 4 weeks later. One of the tiny little diamonds fell out (there’s about 30 of them) with my wife adamant she didn’t knock it. E J claimed it wasn’t a manufacturer issue and wanted £150 to replace the tiny stone.

My husband bought me earrings for my birthday, and when I opened the box all I saw was a plastic bag with 2 large stickers stating that if they were taken out of the bags no exchange or refund.
I had no choice but to open the bag and disliked the earrings on sight. They are very flimsy with very short posts and tiny butterflies. For £475 I would expect a gold pair of earrings to be of much better quality. Regrettably I will never wear them as I really do not like them, and judging by the look of them they would not last a day. How is someone meant to see a product properly if it's encased in plastic and hidden behind large stickers? I guess that the store will be sure of no returns/refunds or exchanges.................
Following the review I have received a response from Ernest Jones Customer service and hopefully a compromise can be reached. Impressed with speedy response.

Daisy was so helpful when choosing a Watch for my husband’s birthday. She was patient, knowledgeable and very professional. She also sorted out some ring alterations and refurbishment, again she was very professional, nothing was too much trouble. Would not hesitate to go back to the Crewe shop when looking for jewellery in the future.
I called into your Crewe branch hoping to get the model number of my Citizen watch. My plan was to download the instructions and then reset the watch with correct time/ date/ leap year setting etc.
I explained all this to the shop assistant, Daisy, who then spent only about 5 minutes resetting the complete watch, a task which would have taken me the rest of the day!

Went to Ernest Jones in Crewe this week to have my lovely engagement ring down Sized which my partner got from the Crewe store . Lovely staff in there always helpful to my family giving you plenty of time to make the right decisions for you. Daisy thank you so much for offering me insurance on my partner's watch i got from there at christmas as it gave me a free resizing saved me lots of money. Plus the watch had a slight fault on it so has been sent in for a repair or replacement .

Great service and knowledge of the sales advisor choosing the gift. Reasonably priced and lovely package I have got for free. Would recommend and will be coming back.
The two ladies were extremely helpful, the item I needed for my husband’s birthday had sold out. They went through a delivery they had just received and found what I wanted. They were chatty and friendly and couldn’t have done more for me. Bonus was husband loved the necklace.
Bought our wedding rings a couple of weekends ago and the service from Elly was impeccable. Couldn’t do enough for us and was incredibly friendly throughout, will definitely be back to pick out more wedding jewellery
Very pleasant and helpful assistant. Disappeared for a while getting the tray out of window, no apology though. She explained all about the insurance that would cover the purchased item. All in all a pleasant experience.

I enjoyed my shopping experience in this store. Friendly helpful assistants who were on hand to help nothing was too much trouble and I did not feel rushed. The shop was spotless I have retuned to make further purchases.
I took my watch to the Crewe branch six months ago, as I thought it was faulty, as batteries didn't last long. I was told it just needed a new battery, so bought one. I was told if it stopped working within a year the battery would be replaced, even if the watch was draining it rapidly. I went back recently to say the battery wasn't working. I didn't have my receipt, so knew I'd have to pay for a new battery. When the old battery was removed, I was told it hadn't come from their shop. It definitely had. It was even the same person ( manager) who served me. So even if I'd had my receipt, the battery wouldn't have been replaced. I with I'd asked for the old battery to send to their head office. Thinking back, this time she put the battery in in front of me. Last time, she went into a back room to do it. I don't know if there is a link between this and the battery make they apparently don't sell. I won't be going back.
