EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER AND POOR QUALITY
Unfortunately, I have had two visits to the store, and both occasions resulted in a negative experience. This is particularly frustrating given that I purchased both our engagement ring and wedding rings from Ernest Jones because of their reputation for quality and service.
We have experienced ongoing issues with the quality of the rings. Diamonds have fallen out — and this is now the second instance of this happening. The rings are only a few years old, and my wife’s wedding ring has been worn only on rare occasions due to her profession. Given how infrequently it has been worn, this level of deterioration is completely unacceptable.
What concerns me most is that we dealt with the same individual on both occasions — the store manager. Based on her behaviour I'm surprised she has been escalated to this level. During our most recent visit, she stated (and this is a direct quote): “damage is to be expected with them being worn.” While general wear and tear may be understandable for rings that are decades old and worn daily, it is deeply worrying to hear this justification for rings that are less than a few years old and have been worn sparingly, particularly within the last 12 months.
I chose Ernest Jones because of its reputation for quality and professionalism. Sadly, our experience — especially the dismissive attitude from someone in a management position — has been extremely disappointing. I would not expect this level of product failure or customer service from a company that markets itself as a premium jeweller.

Awful service from Ernest jones, my now husband bought my engagement ring from Ernest jones and I have had nothing but problems with losing stones from the ring. I am in a profession where unfortunately i am unable to wear my ring regularly and this is the 4th time a diamond has been lost, I have just been quoted £441 for the ring to be fixed which I think is terrible, a good quality ring would not have this issue.

Horrific company, total lack of communication with two of my rings.
The staff tell lies to cover there mistakes and even when I complained to head office they are just as terrible. DO NOT ever buy anything from Ernest jones. And I'm not a person to ever complain so for me to write such a bad review they must be HORRIFIC

Lovely staff can't do enough for you at Lancaster store especially Holly. Holly has gone beyond being helpful and got to know us now and what we like. Nothing is too much trouble 100% for her customer service. Use only this Jewellers locally would highly recommend
We were served by a lady called Catherine and she was very warm and welcoming and very good with her attention to detail and made us feel very special and really helpful in deciding on our choice of engagement ring.
I had a lovely visit to the Lancaster store. The staff met me at the door (Covid protocols) and they were cheerful and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and I had an enjoyable experience buying a special gift for a family member.
Staff listened to what I wanted, then made some suggestions and the final decision was easy to make. All staff were friendly and welcoming.
Not received item yet as it takes a good few weeks.
