My husband bought me an eternity ring…
My husband bought me an eternity ring in November 25 and a diamond fell out two weeks ago. I took it to the store to be told the ring may not be replaced or fixed under warranty which I thought was odd as the ring was perfect apart from a missing diamond and I had a receipt . Today I had a call to say it’s worn where the diamond was held in and will not be repaired under warranty. How on earth does a six month old diamond ring get worn in that short time period. The shop advised I call customer service to register a complaint as the ring was in perfect condition just missing a diamond and this is often the response with items returned under warranty. I’m now waiting on a case review . I’m utterly appalled with the service here they wanted £360 to fix the ring at my cost even though it’s under warranty. If they don’t honour the repair I will be getting it repaired and checked at another jewellers as I can’t trust these cow boys now. I’m so upset with the poor service received I will never buy from this company again and I will advise others to do the same. I will update on this platform with the outcome in a few days .

£800 ring- bent and stones lost after being hardly worn
Brought an £800 ring from Ernest jones. Worn a maximum of 10 times as special occasion ring. However ring has bent and diamonds have fallen out. Ernest jones response- “its soft gold and customer damage is to blame” don’t waste your money here when you can buy better lasting products from cheaper shops! Customer service team patronising and unprofessional. Products are not fit for purpose whether they are in “warranty” or not.

We wanted to leave a quick little review to say what a fantastic experience we had picking out our wedding rings at Ernest Jones, in Grosvenor Centre in Northampton.
Upon entry to the store we were greeted by the team and had the pleasure of being served by Benji, who was super knowledgeable and helpful in terms of what we should be looking for, the material type and sizing. There was absolutely no pressure at all, which was nice and Ernest Jones had a great selection of rings. In fact we had both picked rather quickly, as we had an idea what we wanted and with Benji's guidance it was made super easy. What surprised us was that after we had picked the rings we wanted, prior to any commitment we left the store for a few mins to get a coffee and quickly discuss between ourselves. This could have not been any less of an issue, at all - most shops want your instant purchase there and then and quickly lose interest when you say you'll be back. Not the case with these guys, at all! Upon processing the transaction, Benji even kindly gave us a little extra discount on our purchase which was really nice. All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend to others!
Side Note: This was actually our second attempt to buy our rings as the first time via another jewelry store sadly didn't prove to be the best experience and clearly the staff wanted you purchasing only the most expensive variations of the rings they sold.

When we bought the jewellery it was a nice experience, the store manager was really nice,but when we went back to the same store (Northampton) the lady called Megan was not nice at all. She was doing her job as she had to with a kind of attitude. We bought 2 set of diamond necklaces with matching earrings. (£1200) when I was checking the necklace I could see is very tangled, I asked if they could untangle it for me as I don’t want to take it home like that. Megan was kind of pulling face and said is no return if I open the sealed box. I said I don’t want to return it except if they unable to untangle it. I opened the box in front of them in the shop, not even left. Thankfully the other lady came and helped us, probably she overheard the conversation. I thought I have a right to open it if I can clearly see is tangled.I do understand the policy to no return if the sealed sack is open, but before you handle the jewellery to the customer you check it and not make to put the customer uncomfortable situation.

Worst customer service
Giving them 1 star is being generous. Put my Neil Lane engagement ring in to me cleaned in July. 6 weeks later I got my ring back with a good will gesture they tightened my diamonds, after 2 days of having my ring it was split down the middle of the band. Took it back, was told the "MASTERCRAFTSMAN" didn't know how this happened. Ring went back to be fixed, on its return 2 weeks later a diamond falls out!!!!! So there resolution to this just get a replacement ring with NO COMPENSATION, after them having my ring for 4 months, my 3 trips to the store all resulting in the catalogue of failings and no engagement ring worth £8000!!! Disgusting service would never suggest anyone to go with this company EVER
