A month later, still a SCAM

It has been over a month since I started attempting to collect the money Finder owes me. It has been 30 days since their AI reply-bot promised me they'd get to me soon. It's been 7 days since their lying AI reply-bot told me their team had "found my case" and would "reply to me directly". I have still heard nothing from this scam company. Everything they say here is a lie - obviously just an LLM giving rosy promises to keep up appearances while they rip people off.

I have referred this matter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Colorado Attorney General. Maybe they'll get more of a response than rosy lies from an AI chatbot.

This is a JOKE AND SCAM company

This is a JOKE AND SCAM company. DO NOT do any of their promotions as they do NOT follow through.

After 10 emails back and forth and a customer service team that says "we're still manually verifying" after 3 ENTIRE MONTHS, I have STILL NOT received my money (they owe me over $200 across 2 promotions). The 2 people I referred have also not received their money and are incredibly frustrated. This is an absolute joke.

They will probably respond on here telling me to "email them" which is insulting as I have been emailing them for over 3 months now, to NO RESOLUTION. Save you time and skip this garbage company.

SCAM

SCAM! I did not receive my $200 digital gift card from the IVY Bank bonus. I met all the requirements. Multiple emails and a CFPB complaint and still I have not even got a reply back. Absolute scam. People who chose this route will be judged by God.

Hi there,

We're really sorry to see this — a $200 reward stuck with no reply back is not the experience we want for anyone, and that part's on us.

There's no scam here. Rewards run through a validation cycle with the partner, and every so often a click doesn't attribute end-to-end for reasons we can sort out on our side once we can see the account.

Please email us at usrewards@finder.com with "Trustpilot" in the subject line, along with the email on your Finder account and roughly when you signed up with Ivy Bank, and we'll dig into the specific case and come back to you directly.

Don't expect a timely bonus but it should arrive

Update: After missed deadlines and poor communcation, the bonus was received so I'm increasing my score to a three. They did pay out as promised it just took much longer than promised and it required of me to provide extra documentation.

I followed the rules to receive a bank bonus exactly as stated. Their site status never updated with regards to the bonus. I contacted them multiple times regarding the bonus with no response. Customer communication is abysmal. Don't expect to receive any stated bonus.

Stay away - Unfulfilled Promotional Reward and poor Customer Support Response

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Finder.com. I signed up for a promotion through their platform and fully met every requirement specified in the offer. When the reward failed to process, I submitted all requested proofs and documentation verifying my eligibility.

Despite providing complete proof of compliance, Finder has failed to issue the reward. Worse, their customer support team has completely ignored my complaints and outreach. I have received no response, resolution, or explanation for why a verified reward is being withheld.

Promotions should not be offered if Finder cannot honor them or manage standard support inquiries. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be escalating my formal dispute to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), FTC, and Better Business Bureau (BBB). Avoid relying on their reward offers.

Update: The Finder team has asked for the deposit proof, and i have provided the proof of the statement. Later, their support team stopped replying to my email, and after my negative review here, they replied, but there is still no resolution.

Finder is a lying scam of a company

Finder is a terrible scam of a company. They will rip you off and illegally hold what money is yours through the bonus. As for their claim that "offers are rejected often due to the Banks T&C's", this claim is completely false. I have received my bonus directly from BMO and have confirmed that all terms have been met directly with them. Finder is the only entity here that has failed to hold their end of the contract. Finder is a company operating fradulantly do not waste a second of your time attempting to work with them.

FINDER.COM CROOKS INCORPORATED LLC

This financial service company is such a crook that if I could rate it zero stars I would. My experience is exactly the same as others have posted on Trustpilot meaning if you sign up for a bonus through them with a particular bank you will be marked ineligible as soon as the time nears to receive your bonus. This company will absolutely not respond to your emails and has cut off or never had any other way to communicate with them which is quite intentional. Finder.com is run by scam artists and they know exactly what they are doing in getting you to sign up for a bonus offer because they get their commissions and have zero intention of giving you your bonus even though you have met all eligibility requirements. This site should be shut down for good by whatever legal action is necessary to prevent these scam artists from ripping off hard working people trying to make their money work for them. Finder's response to post on here exposing the public to what they actually are is absolutely sickening. They know precisely what they are going to do to rip you off and all their pathetic smooth talking is just a cover for their crime of blatant false advertising. Update 09/03/2026 Please note the smooth-talking bunch of crap these bold-faced liars said in response to my review. They mean nothing they say and I have still heard absolutely nothing from these crooks. Please don't use Finder.com for anything because they get their money and you get nothing.

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to share this — I hear the frustration and I don't want to leave it at a public back-and-forth.

We're working through a higher-than-usual volume of enquiries at the moment, so response times have been slower than we'd like. Every enquiry is still being answered — so if you've already reached out, you will hear back from us. No need to send it through again.

On the eligibility side: sign-up bonus terms are set by the partner bank against their own T&Cs, not by Finder. Where a bonus gets flagged ineligible, it usually comes down to a specific T&C step (deposit timing, minimum balance, activity requirements) — and if that assessment turns out to be wrong, we do fix it. That's the outcome we're working towards on every case in the queue right now.

Finder.com in my view may at first be seemingly engaged in misleading business practices but not really; only a much delayed albeit irritating reward fulfillment process

Sometime May, 2026 I entered the promotion from finder.com whereby an eligible person who opens a rewards checking account with CCU (Consumers Credit Union) subject to the fulfillment of certain requirements is entitled to receive courtesy of finder.com a $150 digital gift card as reward. I therefore made certain that I fully complied with the requirements during the promo period. Thereafter, I checked my finder.com dashboard only to find out that I was not eligible for it. I therefore sent them a detailed email on 8/2-3/2026 as to why I should be eligible for the reward. On 8/4/2026 I received an email from them indicating that I have been approved for the CCU promo reward and that the fulfillment date was set for 8/7/2026. Since my finder.com dashboard has not been updated to “Ready to Claim” on 8/7/2026 as they have mentioned I emailed them on said date to remind them that my dashboard still indicates Not Eligible. Thereafter since I still have not received a reply I sent them another email on 8/10/2026 to
remind them of the overdue reward fulfillment date. I have not received any response from them since then. Since the company was non-responsive at all I was left with no other option but to file a complaint with the WA state Attorney General's Office of Consumer Complaints to seek redress. Update: I submitted my scathing review on 8/13. After I logged on to my finder.com account on 8/14 to check for any reward update, I found out lo and behold that my reward has been updated from Not Eligible to Ready to Claim. As previously instructed I clicked it and that I should expect to receive an email from their partner tremendous.com for further instructions about redemption. As of this writing, I still have not received any email from tremendous.com. I will try to post any further update. *Update on Aug 21st. The gist is similar as that of the message I sent to Finder. "Despite your confirmation that my reward was processed for delivery on Aug 14th by your delivery partner Tremendous, I want to inform you that I still have not received any email as of now. For this reason I do not expect you to tell me again to reach their support team directly because as I have emphasized below this is an issue between you and Tremendous where I unfortunately have been unnecessarily and unjustifiably caught in between through no fault of my own! I strongly urge you then to resolve the matter with Tremendous because it has been so unfair to me that I have to undergo this agonizing experience!

Furthermore though my dashboard mentioned that the reward has been claimed from your perspective, that seems misleading in my view because the process is incomplete, i.e. there is still the next step of reward redemption that I am unable to do! I hope you understand my severe frustration and hope for a prompt resolution of the issue!

Latest update Aug 26, 2026: I would like to add that Finder’s partner Tremendous was finally able to resolve the issue in that I finally received the $150 reward in addition to the other $200 reward from Finder’s Ivy Bank promotion in the form of 2 separate digital prepaid Visa gift cards. As the saying goes all’s well that ends well!

With this feedback I can only hope that Finder makes improvements if need be in their reward fulfillment process so as to make it a truly literally rewarding experience for their promotion participants!

Hi,

You're in the right place now: dashboard has flipped to Ready to Claim, you've clicked through, so the reward is with Tremendous (our delivery partner) to send. Tremendous emails typically land within 5 business days of the Claim click — so from 14 August that's around 21 August. It's worth checking your spam folder too, since the sender is a third-party service some inboxes filter it there.

If nothing has landed by end of day 21 August, reply to this review with the email address on your Finder account and I'll have our US rewards team pull the delivery log and re-issue the voucher email if needed. No need to send another chase in the meantime — your existing emails are enough.

On the earlier delay: the 7 August fulfillment date should have held, and it didn't. That's on us to get right, not something a customer should have to chase — I'm sorry that's the experience you had before the flip on 14 August.

Complaint Against Finder

Complaint Against Finder – Failure to Honor Advertised Reward, Failure to Respond to Customer Support Request, and Non-Functional Support Chat

I am submitting this complaint regarding Finder's Rewards program and my unsuccessful attempt to resolve this matter directly with Finder.

On 08th June 2026, I opened a Consumers Credit Union account through Finder's promotional offer advertising a $150 reward.

After completing the promotional requirements, my reward status in Finder Rewards was marked as "Not Eligible." I believe this determination is incorrect and requested a manual review.

On July 29, 2026, I contacted Finder Rewards by email, explained the situation, and requested that my eligibility be manually reviewed.

As of today, I have not received any response, acknowledgment, or explanation regarding my request.

I also attempted to contact Finder using the "Chat to our team" option displayed on their website. Unfortunately, this support feature still does not function. Clicking the chat option does not open a chat window or provide any way to contact a representative, leaving customers without the advertised support channel.

Notably, Finder previously stated in response to an earlier BBB complaint that this issue had been fixed. However, I verified it again today, and the chat support feature remains non-functional.

As a result:

My reward remains marked as "Not Eligible."
Finder has not responded to my customer support request.
I have received no explanation regarding why I was determined to be ineligible.
The advertised "Chat to our team" support option remains non-functional.
I have been left without any meaningful way to resolve this issue.

I have retained documentation supporting my complaint, including:

proof that I opened my Consumers Credit Union account through Finder's promotional offer;
screenshots showing my reward status as "Not Eligible";
a copy of my email sent to Finder on July 29, 2026 requesting a manual review;
screenshots demonstrating that the "Chat to our team" feature still does not function;
additional documentation demonstrating that I completed the promotional requirements.

Additionally, I have found numerous public reviews from other Finder users describing similar experiences, including rewards being marked as "Not Eligible" without explanation and customer support requests going unanswered. This raises concerns that my experience may not be an isolated incident.

I attempted in good faith to resolve this matter directly with Finder before submitting this complaint. Unfortunately, after waiting more than a week without any response, I have no reasonable alternative but to seek assistance through the Better Business Bureau.

I respectfully request that Finder:

Conduct a manual review of my reward eligibility.
Provide a written explanation if they believe I do not qualify for the promotion.
Correct the "Not Eligible" status if it was assigned in error.
Pay the advertised $150 promotional reward if I have met all of the promotional requirements.
Respond to customer inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
Repair or remove the non-functioning "Chat to our team" support option so customers can actually contact support as advertised.

I appreciate BBB's attention to this matter and hope this issue can be resolved promptly, fairly, and in accordance with the terms of Finder's advertised promotion.

!!!!Update — August 14, 2026: Finder publicly responded to my review on August 5 and promised a full manual review of my eligibility for the $150 Consumers Credit Union reward. Nine days later, the issue is still unresolved. I have not received the $150 reward or any clear explanation. I also followed up directly on August 10 and received no response. I am still waiting for Finder to honor its commitment and resolve this issue.

UPDATE — August 23, 2026:
Finder publicly responded to this review on August 5 and stated that my complaint had been “picked up and is being actioned personally” and that they would conduct a “full manual review” of my eligibility for the $150 Consumers Credit Union reward.

It has now been 18 days since that response, and nothing has been resolved.

My Finder account still shows the reward as “Not Eligible.” I have received no result of the promised manual review, no explanation for the denial, no response by email, and no $150 reward.

I fulfilled the promotional requirements and have documentation supporting this. I have repeatedly attempted to resolve the issue directly with Finder.

Finder publicly promised to review and resolve this matter. 18 days later, I am still waiting for them to honor that commitment.

I will update this review again if and when Finder actually resolves the issue.

Thank you for taking the time to raise this, and sincere apologies for the extended silence on your case. That's not the response you should have had.

Your complaint has been picked up and is being actioned personally from our end. We'll conduct a full manual review of your Consumers Credit Union $150 reward eligibility against the promotion terms in place at 8 June 2026, and come back to you with either a clear reason for the ineligibility or a corrected outcome.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi,

I'm sorry — being ignored after writing in multiple times is on us. Even if the reward decision itself was correct under the T&Cs, you deserved a clear reply the first time, and that didn't happen.

Could you message us in your Finder dashboard? I'll dig up what came in, look at your Kraken signup and trade proof against the campaign T&Cs, and come back to you with a proper answer — including making it right if you were eligible.

On the crypto move since — I'm sorry you're out of pocket there. That's not something we're in a position to influence either way.

Thanks for flagging this.

Complaint Against Finder – Failure to Honor Advertised Reward, Failure to Respond to Customer Inquiries, and Lack of Functional Customer Support

**Complaint Against Finder – Failure to Honor Advertised Reward, Failure to Respond to Customer Inquiries, and Lack of Functional Customer Support**

I am submitting this complaint regarding Finder's Rewards program and my unsuccessful attempts to resolve this matter directly with Finder.

On **June 2, 2026**, I opened a **Consumers Credit Union** account through Finder's promotional offer advertising a **$150 reward**.

Shortly afterward, my reward status in Finder Rewards was marked as **"Not Eligible."** I believe this determination is incorrect and requested a manual review.

I contacted Finder Rewards on the following dates:

* July 11, 2026
* July 13, 2026
* July 20, 2026

As of today, I have **not received a single response** to any of these emails.

I also attempted to contact Finder using the support option displayed on their website. Finder advertises a **"Chat to our team"** feature; however, clicking this link does absolutely nothing. The chat never opens, leaving customers without the advertised support channel.

As a result:

* My reward remains marked as **"Not Eligible."**
* Finder has ignored multiple support requests.
* The advertised chat support is non-functional.
* I have received no explanation regarding why I was determined to be ineligible.

I have retained evidence supporting my complaint, including:

* proof that I opened my Consumers Credit Union account on June 2, 2026;
* screenshots showing the reward status as "Not Eligible";
* copies of all unanswered emails sent on July 11, July 13, and July 20;
* screenshots (and, if requested, a screen recording) demonstrating that the "Chat to our team" support feature does not function.

Additionally, I have found multiple public reviews from other Finder users describing very similar experiences, including rewards being marked as "Not Eligible" without explanation and repeated support requests going unanswered. This suggests that my experience may not be an isolated incident.

I attempted in good faith to resolve this issue directly with Finder before submitting this complaint. Unfortunately, after multiple unanswered requests over nearly two weeks, I have no reasonable alternative but to seek assistance through consumer protection channels.

I respectfully request that Finder:

1. Conduct a manual review of my reward eligibility.
2. Provide a written explanation if they believe I do not qualify.
3. Pay the advertised $150 reward if I have met the promotional requirements.
4. Respond to customer inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Repair or remove the non-functioning "Chat to our team" support option so customers can actually contact support as advertised.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope this issue can be resolved promptly and fairly.

Hi,

Thank you for laying this out so clearly — you've raised three separate issues, and all three are on us:

1. Unanswered emails. Three messages over ten days with no reply isn't acceptable. That failure is ours regardless of what the underlying reward decision was.
2. Non-functional "Chat to our team" widget. If we're advertising a support channel, it needs to actually work. This has been updated.
3. No explanation for the "Not Eligible" status. You deserve a specific reason tied back to the promotion terms, not a silent flip.

I'd like to fix all three. Could you get in touch with us via your rewards dash with proof of your Consumers Credit Union account opening? I'll pick it up directly, pull your case, compare it against the promotion terms, and come back to you with a clear answer. If you were eligible, we'll issue the $150.

Thank you for approaching this in good faith before escalating externally.

Denied a cash-back bonus without reason, and despite providing proof of requirements met

I applied for a Finder promotional cash-back offer. I met the advertised eligibility requirements, but Finder denied the bonus without giving any valid reason. Their "chat" feature they suggest using to resolve the issue is non-functional. I sent them three follow-up emails with proof of meeting all requirements; they ignored the first two emails and after sending further proof that they requested, have not responded with any resolution, corrected the eligibility, or sent the reward they promised.

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share this and apologies for the frustration. This isn't the experience we want anyone to have with our rewards.

Reward eligibility is set by the partner's own tracking, but when a decision is disputed we always take a second look case by case. It sounds like your emails have slipped through the cracks, and we'd like to make that right.

The fastest path to get this sorted is through your Rewards Hub — log in at finder.com/user-profile/rewards, find the reward in question and raise a query from there. It goes straight to our care team with the reward details attached, so nothing gets lost.

Kind regards,

Impossible terms and conditions, essentially a scam

I did a Finder offer to open an account at Consumers Credit Union, make one or more deposits, keep it open for 60 days, and get paid $150. I opened my account, met all the the requirements, and was surprised when I went back to Finder to see "not eligible" when I should have been paid out.

If you read the terms closely, finishing the offer is actually designed to be impossible. The offer on Finder was open for signups from April 15th to May 15th, HOWEVER the eligibility for the promo is only reviewed on June 15th. So this means unless you clicked through the offer on the very first day, you cannot possibly meet the terms of having your account open for 60 days by June 15th. Why keep it open for another month then? The offer also said it would be paid out July 15th, so why not evaluate on a rolling 60 day basis?

The icing on the cake is that I've emailed Finder twice over the past month about this offer, and they just ignore it, I've gotten no response from their usrewards email address, not even an automated "we've received your email" message. Just silence. Additionally, the chat link on their site does nothing, it's just broken. There is no way to talk to anybody at this company.

I believe Finder got paid by Consumers for my signup and they're just keeping the money. Don't waste your time with anything on this website. I've done a lot of bank account and credit card signup bonuses, and Finder is the only place I've not met a bonus due to tricky wording and a completely unresponsive service team.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and I'm sorry it's the experience we've delivered. A month of silence from our inbox and a chat link that doesn't work isn't acceptable.

On the Consumers Credit Union offer specifically: the timing structure and how eligibility gets reviewed is a fair question, and we don't want to guess at the specifics without looking at your account directly. There are legitimate variations in how the 60-day window and the evaluation date line up depending on account open date and when qualifying deposits landed and if the review is showing "not eligible" in error, we want to correct it.

The fastest way to get this in front of us is your Rewards Hub dashboard at https://www.finder.com/user-profile/rewards — log in with the account you used for the CCU signup and get in touch from there.

We hear you, and we appreciate you giving us the chance to make this right.

Scam - they don't pay rewards out

Scam! They are refusing to pay the promised $300 reward to so many customers who successfully completed the terms of their Axos offer. Just see the comments at the Doctor of Credit's post on the Finder/Axos deal to understand how many people have been scammed! Both my husband and I have sent them emails, which always go ignored. Stay away!

Hi there,

Thank you for writing this, and we're sorry both you and your husband getting radio silence after doing the work isn't the experience we want anyone to have.

On the Axos offer: we don't want to guess at what's going on in either of your cases without looking at the accounts directly. If the eligibility review has come back wrong, we want to correct it —including going back over the terms your accounts were signed up under.

The fastest way to get both cases reviewed is your Rewards Hub dashboard at https://www.finder.com/user-profile/rewards — you and your husband each log in with the accounts used for the Axos signup and get in touch from there. That routes straight to the team who can look at the cases, rather than the inbox that's been silent.

We hear you, and we appreciate the chance to make this right.

Best,
The Finder Team

$150 Scotiabank reward unpaid past your own deadline — please resolve

I opened a Scotiabank Preferred Package on February 27, 2026, through Finder’s comparison link — within your Jan 5–Feb 28 promotion period — as a new Scotiabank chequing customer. Per the promotion terms, the eligibility check was due by March 28 and the $150 digital Visa gift card was to be issued by April 28, 2026 via Tremendous.
It is now well past that date. I have received no gift card and no notice of ineligibility. I’ve already emailed support from the email tied to my Finder account with my details and have had no resolution.
I’d like Finder to (1) confirm whether my sign-up tracked to my account, and (2) issue the reward as offered. Happy to provide my account-opening confirmation. Posting here since other channels haven’t resolved it.

Promoted a bank that mass closed…

Promoted a bank that mass closed accounts and now have money in limbo. Finder customer service is non responsive. I would never use a promo from them again.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you've been left in limbo, that's a frustrating spot.

Finder is a comparison and referral service. We pay out the promo reward, but the account itself (deposits, holds and closures) sits entirely with the bank. If your funds are stuck, the fastest path is the bank's complaints team, then your country's financial regulator if that doesn't shift.

For the Finder reward, log in at finder.com/user-profile/rewards and raise a query on that reward — it goes straight to our care team with the details attached.

Kind regards,
The Finder Team
