simple concept yet clever and fun to play

I bought this as my 9 year old granddaughter and I love the Genius Star. We definitely found this to be harder and quite difficult to work out how to configure the required shapes. However it is good to stretch our brains and we will have fun and keep trying until we crack it!

We have both the Genius Square and the Genius Star, so we’re keen to add another Genius game to our collection! We’ve found this one to be a bit harder and less intuitive, but nevertheless a fun addition and a good new challenge.

This really is the tops of the Genius series. Not for the faint hearted. The provision of two boxes to keep the sets of gems separate would help. As the pieces have two sides to them getting them separated if they get mixed up is a challenge in itself - but that is what the puzzles are all about. A great game and the provision of extra dice to alter the levels of difficulty is a great idea.
