This product is too heavy and has no drive so very difficult to push up sloped lawns. Only good for heavy duty work on flat ground

Arrived with wing nut missing - essential part as comes off the bolt that holds on the handle! Luckily I had the right size bolt as otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to use the machine at all and would’ve been a complete waste of time. The driver didn’t offer any remedy. Any most basic rudimentary check of the machine before it left the hire shop would’ve revealed this problem so pretty disappointing. Regards value, expensive for first day but two days would’ve made it reasonable value.

The shape of this is like a box, in lowering the height it grounds and you cannot move it forwards. This meant it didn't clear the moss and thatch. Perhaps if you have a bowling green lawn it would be OK, but its useless on a lawing with even a small level change. The instructions state that you must not let the blades come into contact with the soil - its impossible for then to do so as the machine grounds on any low setting. Don't waste your money use a rake.
Cleared 2 large lawns in about 6 hours. Raked out about 150kg of dead moss, grass and general thatch. made a big difference to the lawn. They have greened up and look a lot better for their treatment. It's a 2 man (person) job to lift it in and out of the trailer though!
