This is the best way of fixing posts that I have used - just follow the instructions. The bags are very heavy duty polyethylene (so recycleable) but any damage to them results in moisture penetration causing localised setting of some of the contents. While this is not ideal, I have found that the lumps can be broken up and used or just poured down the hole if they fit. It still achieves the job of a creating a perfectly fitting filler between the post and the ground.
