The technician did not show up on the day he was supposed to. We rescheduled and he showed up 12 hours early. Then the price jumped from $125 to $400. Then an hour later told us they couldn’t make the key, but we had to pay him $100? I’m not sure how this company stays in business.

Homedepot or ace can make the keys under $4 a piece and provide immediate key delivery. Keyme is charging $6 per key (after tax) despite such a large order and delivering many days out. misleading marketing and rip off your customers.

Got in my car just fine without damaging my car, very pleased with the service. Was not pleased with the wait time as I chose this company because my initial call to them told me 30 min and they didn’t end up showing up for 3 hours. Price seemed high at $150 for a 3 hour wait.

Locked keys in car
Locked keys in car. Called to cancel lock smith and I was charged any even though no services where done and they wouldn’t refund my money. A message stating I would only be charged if the service was finished

Called for a car lockout, got charged out the rear
Called for a car lockout in a panic. Clicked the first result that came up - first mistake. Was not given a price upfront, which is required by my state for emergency services (which I was not aware of at the time), only told that someone was on their way to my location. Second mistake. 2 kids fresh out of high school showed up and, admittedly, popped my car with no problem or damage.
Without having been given a quote or even a suggestion of a price, I was then charged $278 for a simple car unlock. $99 for "service call", and then $179 for "car lockout". (The average in my area is $70-90.) However, they were two guys standing in my driveway and I was one young woman on the verge of a meltdown, so I felt pressured to pay. The charge is simply "LOCKSMITH SERVICES", no company name or even a person's name.
I called and filed a complaint so I can get a refund for predatory practices and exploitation under distress, and was met with some dyslexic woman who refused to spell my email address correctly. I am not optimistic about receiving a reply or a call back, so I will be filing a chargeback with my bank.
