Squirrel initially took bait of peanut butter & biscuit without activating trap door, so on second attempt I stuck biscuit down with p/butter. He still managed to take bait & escape, but then came back to lick up remaining p/butter. That was his downfall. Trapped & humanely despatched✅.

Found this product very good value and excellent at catching squirrels. You need to understand how all the connecting parts work together as you will need to adjust them on a regular basis.

Excellent value product that is very effective for vermin control.
Easy to use, a little sensitive but realised we were putting too much bate on the plate, so far it’s caught 3 grey squirrels & a bird. Each time we have released immediately so no stress on the animals. Just need to catch the pesky rat who conveniently doesn’t come out when we set the trap. Great trap for naughty squirrels.
