I volunteered with the English Teaching Program in Bali over the summer and don't know where to begin! The students were absolutely fab and the project leads provided the utmost support to make this extremely new experience as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was stunning and the staff were amazing (will miss the food dearly.) There were a range of trips and activities provided and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one, namely Gili T weekend :) Wonderful experience and would love to be back someday, thank you Akasa House!

I had the best time. So many opportunities and experiences they gave you. The absolute best stuff, they try to help with everything possible and make the trip even more magical.
It was very fun and a good use of my summer holidays! However, do wear long pants most of the days as Balinese mosquitos are insane!

Once in a life time expirence
I really enjoyed my experience teaching English in Bali as it was both rewarding and memorable. Whilst I was able to help children with English the experience also enable me to help increase communication my own skills. It so enabled me to explore Bali, experience the local culture and meet new people.
The wildlife volunteer program was excellent. Being so close to the animals, I was able, with the support of the staff, to help improve their lives as well as Bali’s unfortunately threatened environment. I particularly enjoyed the mangrove replanting project.
My experience with PMGY in Bali was honestly unforgettable. I felt well looked after throughout the programme by the staff there. I volunteered teaching English at a local school, and getting to interact with the students, plan fun lessons and see them enjoying learning English was one of the highlights of my trip. The PMGY staff were really supportive and made settling into a new environment much easier. I also loved having the opportunity to explore Bali, meet other volunteers and experience the culture in my free time. I would definitely recommend PMGY to anyone thinking about volunteering abroad, especially if it’s your first time. It’s an experience I’ll always remember and would happily do again!

20/10 recommend the best summer ever. I spent 6 weeks volunteering, teaching English. All the students were so engaged and happy to learn. The accommodation was great and so was the food. The island had so much to do, and you had a lot of free time to explore. I met so many friends from all over the world. Truly the best experience ever, and the staff are amazing
