It has been an incredible and very enriching experience. I have learned so much, both at the hospital and on a personal level. Without a doubt, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take part in a volunteer program.

Had a great time
I volunteered with PMGY in Ghana for 6 weeks and had the most amazing time. Everybody is absolutely lovely and really makes you feel at home, from Chloe and Seth, to the drivers and the staff in the house. By the time you leave it feels like you have a second family. Going to childcare everyday is so fun as everyday you see something new. Getting the opportunity to teach is also a lovely way to connect with the older kids and mix things up. There is never a boring day in or out of project. I would go back in a heart beat, and would 100% recommend to anyone!
Ghana was such a beautiful country and Pmgy was the perfect way to see it. I did the weekend trip to Mole and it was so incredible and reasonably affordable for how far we travelling and how much we fit in. I volunteered with children in Kumasi and it was so eye opening and heartwarming to get to know to know the local children. I definitely want to return to Ghana in the future, and Pmgy.

I completed the childcare volunteering in Ghana and it was a once in a lifetime experience, there was never a dull moment especially with how fun the kids are, the entire time I felt so safe and cared for and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Every evening and on weekends the staff would be there to make sure we had an amazing time and to help us with any questions or requests we had. I could not recommend this enough and I will be back.
