unforgettable experience

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Such a great experience, would definitely recommend to a friend! The staff were so lovely, always around to help at any time and the food provided was incredible. The volunteering was well organised and there was also plenty of time for fun activities, downtime, and joining other volunteering courses if you wanted.

It was a great program, I did the turtle conservation and it was amazing to learn all about them and help keep them safe.

Ash, Melissa, and the local team were so friendly and kind. They went above and beyond in the trips and activities they organised and really wanted us to have a full experience. They were excited to share their culture and I could really tell everyone loved their jobs. The house was lovely and clean, A.C in the bedrooms, and amazing food prepared every day! I volunteered with the dog shelter and Nisha the project organiser was wonderful to work with! Because this project is smaller than the others, you really feel like your presence makes a difference! I would do it all again if I could!

Each day was different, some hospitals I found very informative like rehab, suicide prevention centres and the inpatients others I found that there was limited learning due to teams being so busy and language barriers etc

Great experience

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I did the Dogs & Turtles Project as well as the afternoon teaching program for two weeks, and everything was amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and it was such a fun and rewarding experience. I especially enjoyed doing it together with my friends and getting the chance to meet so many new people.

Amazing experience

+ Super friendly staff, hostel quite nice with pool. - Uncomfortable beds, shitty location during august, very expensive even though it's catered as 'volunteering', mainly very young people, quite a bit of freedom restrictions *Mental health program: quite a diverse agenda, some lectures (munk, ayurvedic, astrology), psych hospital visits, sometimes way too long transport compared to the activity though (eg drove 4 hours total for a 1.5 hour lecture in Colombo)
