An Unfortunate Experience
Since I was moving homes, I had booked a storage unit at Safe Store in Fareham. After completing all the paperwork, I got a confirmation by email that my storage unit will be timely available. Everything seemed on track. Since the reviews were positive, I relied on the storage service being reliable.
Unfortunately, upon spending lots of time and money on fuel, packaging and transportation, I arrived at Safe Store in Fareham, only to be informed that my storage unit is actually unavailable, leaving me stranded with all the luggage and nowhere to store it.
I received no advance confirmation or notification of this, and had to make costly last-minute arrangements. Whilst there may be individuals with a positive experience, this review represents my own unfortunate experience with Safe Store in Fareham.
Not only did they fail to provide the pre-booked storage unit, they offered no support whatsoever, and tried sending me to Safe Store Portsmouth on a very expensive (nearly over thrice as much) charge for the same space, with no regards for their failure to provide the pre-booked unit (hence did not provide any suitable alternative).
Based on my experience with Safe Store in Fareham, I would not recommend Safe Store, and warn users to beware of such incidents.
