Great time will be back
Great time, lots of new attractions we loved it. Could tidy up the eating area a bit quicker and come to the lanes when you push for help as had to go to the reception area for support but guess just taking a while to get used to the new set up. Will definitely be back. Only thing is it is really noisy so perhaps the down the machines a bit

A great afternoon playing an escape room
Had a great afternoon playing one of the Escape Rooms. Our hose was very friendly and helpful and the room it self was very well thought out and presented. Stayed to play in the arcade for a bit after which was very fun. The venue itself was clean and fun. Would certainly go back again.

I found the staff friendly and helpful…
I found the staff friendly and helpful there was all sorts you can do and lots of options you can do like laser tag, karaoke, darts, bowling, drinks I enjoyed the Pepsi max as got a large pint and was in nice large glasses with ice. Had a nice soft play area for small children for if they wanna run around big space and lots of games in the arches areas I highly recommended it to have fun especially for parents that want to take there kids

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great improvements to the site namely the toilets and the additional attractions.
The only area of improvement is the queuing for drinks and reception. This was frustrating

No a pleasant experience for small children…
Went to the soft play and we ordered food, it took 45 minutes to get the food, no warning when we ordered. Chased it up twice and was told they didn’t have enough staff! Excessively noisy for small children.

Paid £50 for kareoke for me and 4 others, mics were out of sync, told we could connect Spotify which was a lie, only a certain selection of songs, one mic was dead for over 30 minutes until they changed it, lyrics were out of sync with the music

Tenpin Exeter has finally revamped😂
Tenpin in Exeter has just revamped and they've gone for looking tired to a modern sleek place to have fun. The bowling is still the same but with extra lanes and they've added games to the arcade (I love arcades) as well as other new activities. So far I've only tired the augmented darts but in future I can't wait to try their karaoke booths, laser tag and escape rooms. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun night out with friends or family, this is the perfect place to go. Prices are reasonable and booking is super easy which I recommend doing for peak times.

Arcade was pretty fun
Arcade was pretty fun, escape room was quite cool as well very challenging. Burger was lacking, for the price you would expect lettuce/onions rather than a plain bap. Nachos were great

A few teething problems
The remodel of the Exeter branch is great!! So much more to do & keep you engaged. However, it was incredibly busy (as expected) but we had to queue for over 30 minutes just to get a drink as only 1 staff member was working the bar.
The bowling side is a little more frustrating too now. Where the balls were on racks before, now you have to go up & down all the other lanes asking bowlers for balls?? Was a little annoying to go get them and then constantly tell people that we are using them. The racks worked so much better before.
I’m hoping it’s all teething problems that can happen to a remodelled branch?? I’m sure it will improve and get better.

Laser tag was great soft play staff unfair
Had a bit of a nightmare went for laser tag which was fine. My sons wanted to go into soft play my oldest son 9 very tall for his age was told he was too big and absolutely had no problem with this. Sat and watched my youngest go on for the lady on the till bit for the soft play to allow children much taller than my son in. My son was so upset. Treat everyone the same or not at all my sister mentioned this to the lady and she then offered for him to go in. Its too late then. Really dissapointing. We attended the laser tag and that was great.

Bank Holiday=More Staff Required
The bowling was excellent, the site is clean and tidy. Sadly there were only 2 staff I could see, running their socks off to deliver good customer service.
We had an issue with our computer screen and called for assistance. When the 4 of us had reached bowl No. 7, we gave up waiting for assistance and cancelled the call light. The lane next to us had to go and physically get help. Due to the queue for food and drink, we decided to wait until we finished bowling.just to repeat, the bowling is a great experience.

Appalling food
While the bowling itself was good (screens worked and pin reset quick), the bowling balls had big chips/dents that made it difficult to bowl with, tables/benches were unclean with food trays and glasses, and the food was appalling, we ended up getting a total refund as it was shocking food and high priced. The manager was polite and helpful.
We’ve been to tenpin Plymouth and loved every visit, Exeter was a huge disappointment.

Bowling.
Their was this one employee that was very good he knew it was my birthday and made it very special. However their was this other employee that wasnt very nice. He made my dad wait 20 minutes for a drink at the bar and ik u will assume his busy he wasnt their were two people their and blatantly ignored my dad. The booking process was very good as we didnt have a reservation so we weren't expecting to get a space and we did get one. The booths very very good i had lane 8 and it felt like we had our own space and ot was very good. Overall it was a very good time.
