4 people on the check in with no one waiting, 1 single lad on the bar, doing food and drinks, 9 people waiting in queue. Then he got the order wrong, claimed it was never ordered, but it was on his computer when manager checked. Slow food to arrive and not very warm

Finger holes and balls
There are not enough balls with good finger holes. The best finger holes are from 10 onwards which was too heavy for me.

Terrible my sons birthday and there was 5 off us the barriers was broken we called the service to come over no one attended the hole hour my children really don’t enjoy it went over to speak to someone but was to busy to help waisted money upset my son on his birthday

Jess you are brilliant
Further to my previous scathing review about the duty manager yesterday and about the company I have had my faith returned by the on duty manager today. Jess called me and asked if I could call in so she could apologise for yesterdays issues and what a lovely person she is as soon as I spoke to here she could remember both my grandson and myself as we both spoke to her earlier in the day before she went off duty. I can not praise her enough remembering us seeing the amount of people she must see in a shift and she was spot on as to what was said and where we sat if everyone was as good you as a company would have nothing but 5 star reviews so once again a VERY BIG thank you to Jess from us both. Extremely disappointing
The lanes were ready upon arrival (great) however they still contained glasses and plates from the previous customers.
Waiting for a drink was ridiculous, we received our (pre booked) food before our drinks and, everyone, especially the children, were desperate for a drink.
After 20 minutes of waiting for a drink, I spoke to a manager who said ‘give them another 10 minutes, they are snowed under’. 25 minutes later, our drinks arrived.
Also, upon booking 2 lanes, I didn’t expect there to be a huge plastic screen between us whereby we couldn’t hear each other speak.
All in all, very very disappointed for the money paid.
Whilst I appreciate it was 3 days before Christmas, it was my little boys birthday and I wanted to do something unrelated to Christmas.
Even whilst making the booking and paying the money, it was somehow put in my ex’s name - which again was shown on the 2 screens on our lanes.
I haven’t been with this person since 2015.
The whole thing was a waste of money that could’ve been spent elsewhere, we won’t be returning.

Service very slow when we ordered…
Service very slow when we ordered drinks no apology for waiting 45 mins. We ended up going to collect our drinks at the bar. Young lad couldn’t cope on his own. When an older man came over to help he just thought it was funny and laughing and joking with the young lad. Wouldn’t come here again prefer to go over to Cheltenham better customer care and service.

Horrendous experience
I booked in advance and when we arrived was told we had to wait 20 minutes as no lanes available, when we finally got our lane half an hour after I ordered drinks through the app after half an hour still no drinks so I went to the bar and showed my receipt, was told my drinks would be next, another half an hour and still no drinks there was four of us and we played 2 games of bowling and after 3 trips to the bar I finally got our drinks, the place was a mess empty glasses and rubbish on all tables and staff were very rude

This place has such loud music and was so hectic that my kids didn't want to play in the soft play that we had booked for. The section for babies is constantly intruded by older kids. This place might be fine for older kids but not for young toddlers.

Bad experience for New Year’s Eve
Booked online for New Year’s Eve. I knew this was going to busy but did not expect it to be problem after problem. We arrived 20 mins before our time and was told the booking system has been messed up so we couldn’t bowl and they could offer me a refund with two children they became distressed. The women then found us a spot…. When getting on the alley my husband went to the bar with a long line with only one member of staff serving. We took it in turns to wait in the line as we only had a hour bowling time so as a family we missed each other bowling throughout. (If my kids was not thirsty I wouldn’t have waited in the line). We had two bowls each and then the alley broke down,we pressed the service button on the screen waited for 10 mins no one came. Our pizza was brought to us I asked the man if there was anyway of getting our alley back going, 10 more mins later the problem was fixed. All in all we had 15 mins off family time bowling when it should have been a hour. When asking the manager for a complaints email he gave me one I mentioned how all 4 members off staff that was stood listening to me I watched for 10 mins whilst in the line waiting for a drink that they had been doing next to nothing with the poor man serving everyone his reply was ‘well that isn’t true though is it’ there was food everyone and empty glass all over the place. Was not a good experience for New Year’s Eve celebration.

Bowling was good; easy to use system, good selection of ball weights.
Food was awful; cold, small portions, poorly presented, lacked flavour and certainly not as advertised.
