Had to pay to terminate even though the experience was not up to standard
Everything in this app can be done with the free Upscayl program and Photoshop/Photopea. It's a waste of money. It also says in the small print that by paying for a monthly subscription, YOU COMMIT TO AN ANNUAL PAYMENT. Otherwise, you have to pay an additional $18. I don't recommend it.
Technical failures and predatory billing practices. I have already paid approximately $50 to end this nightmare, which included the last month of service and a $26 early termination fee. It is outrageous to charge a 'breakup fee' for a product that fails to meet basic technical standards. The software was unable to upscale images reliably, and I faced constant issues where even 1500px files wouldn't process. I decided to pay just to be done with your predatory 'Annual Commitment' hidden behind a monthly billing cycle. This is a textbook example of poor business ethics and subpar technology. I am moving on to better tools, but I will make sure the creative community is aware of these hidden costs and the unreliable performance of Topaz. I am attaching my subscription request and the support reply screenshot to this review to prove my words.
