Appalling and completely passive customer service

Over £400 spent, no goods received despite next-day delivery. Ten days later, WCH's response is simply that DPD is investigating and I must wait — potentially another 21+ days.

I bought from Working Class Heroes, not DPD. I would expect the retailer to take ownership, refund the customer and pursue its courier — not passively leave a new customer £400+ out of pocket while waiting for DPD.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. I would not buy from WCH again.

I recently purchased the iconic Pennington cagoule from working class heros. The cagoule is brand new and the colour is exactly how it is shown in the picture. It was £60 cheaper than a lot of places and is the correct fit. Good value and quality.

Ordering was easy and my bag arrived on time for my trip. I paid extra for the quick turn around, but I have done this before and the thing hasn't arrived in time. I'm really grateful WCH were able to sort me out. All in all a great experience, I will be shopping here again ☺️

I initially visited the Ulverston store hoping to try on some of the women's waterproof jackets so I could order the correct size, rather than buying multiple sizes online and having to return those that didn't fit.

I was disappointed to discover that the store had virtually no women's clothing in stock—perhaps only one or two tops in the entire shop. When I asked about this, the staff member bluntly told me I should have used Click & Collect if I wanted to try items on. I'm not sure how I was supposed to know this beforehand. It also raises the question: why do your stores stock the men's range but not the women's?

My main complaint, however, is the poor communication from the online team regarding my return. Your website states that returns are typically processed within two working days, but this was not my experience.

My return was delivered back to your warehouse on 15 June, yet it wasn't acknowledged until 24 June. This only happened after I requested that someone contact me to explain why my refund still hadn't been processed 10 days after the return had been delivered. I had also contacted your customer service team on 19 June to check whether my return had been received, but no one was able to provide a clear update.

To add to my disappointment, I paid approximately £7 for DPD next-day delivery, yet my order didn't arrive until two days later.

Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Between the lack of women's stock in-store, the dismissive response from a member of staff, the delayed return processing, and the poor communication throughout, I have been left very disappointed with the level of service and will never use WCH again.

I ordered the item on Thursday but they did not dispatch until Monday. Bit slow.

As you can see from reviews sharing my experience sending and giving you the item you purchased completely fine but refunding an item impossible the staff who reply to you are rude and point blank refuse a refund even though the reason of return was there fault if you want similar clothes go to flatspot ect because these guys are idiots if they try to dispute this review I’ll just post all the screenshots online

Didn't receive my order, due to a lying and lazy DPD driver. Chased it up with WCH, who advised me to go to where it has supposedly been delivered to, despite me being unable to (and them knowing this). Not impressed.

Great hat at a very reasonable price. Love the design, the fit and the lightness. Fast delivery time too, I will definitely be ordering from Working Class Heroes again.
