Arriving at Avondrood guesthouse almost took my breath away. My room was so beautiful and spacious. It felt like such a treat. The breakfasts were delicious & the location was very handy to walk into town for lunch/dinner. Also only a quick walk to the Wine tram. The staff was great too, I’d definitely stay here again.

I really loved this place. The rooms were really nice. David and Janey were so helpful with arranging places to eat and activities to do while we were in Franschhoek. It was a perfect introduction to South Africa.

A great place in Franschhoek to stay. The B&B was very clean and comfortable and always had a fire in the main room going. Breakfast was wonderful. Within walking distance of the town.

Location is so convenient to this charming town. Walk everywhere and enjoy the excellent restaurants. Very attentive staff. Lovely breakfast options.

What's not to love in a beautiful guest house in the Wine Country? Justin and his team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our time...wish we had another night or two.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Franschhoek. Beautiful spacious rooms with excellent bathrooms, and pretty outside gardens with pool and sunbeds. Lovely breakfast on the outside patio. Justin and his team were very welcoming and informative. We also loved the honesty bar for a nightcap in the evening !
Very close to centre of Franschhoek and the tram , spectacular view from our family room which was beautiful . Breakfast was amazing and they couldn’t have done more for us . Would love to go back
