Catastrofe
In June 2022, a tooth on the upper jaw began to move. I was diagnosed with periodontitis and I was told that all the upper teeth that I still had (eight) must be removed and replaced with a "click prosthesis".
I found an office, 0800-Dentist, who said that in 3-6 months I will have a prosthesis. Six months was the pessimistic scenario, if complications appeared. The costs were 4000 euros paid by me and 4000 euros by my insurance.
In the beginning of July 2022, I had the screws put in, there were no complications and I waited for three months to pass. No one called me to check.
In October 2022, I made an appointment. Dr. Hashemi said that "everything is perfect" and that in six weeks (two weeks - two weeks - two weeks) I will have the prosthesis.
At the beginning of December 2022, they said that they would call me in a maximum of two weeks. They didn't call. I called at the end of December and they told me that "it is a little bit delay" because during the winter holidays many people order prostheses. I didn't know that dentures are a Christmas present.
Lies after lies until March 2023, when a prosthesis that was not suitable finally appeared. It had to be modified twice, which meant another seven weeks.
Finally, in May 2023, the prosthesis was ready. The happiness was short-lived, after two months the prosthesis started to move, it's uncomfortable, it doesn't fit on the jaw, a lot of food gets under it. Practically, every time I eat something I have to take it out and clean it.
If lying was a job, Dentist 0900 would be billionaires. It was the worst medical experience I've had in 56 years.
Now I'm saving money for another prosthesis. I hope to find a good doctor.
Of course, the Practice manager of Dentist 0900 will answer: "I checked the files and it is not true, you were not our patient".
Unfortunately, I was. And I regret this very much...
