Total scam, don't fall for it!

I was approached by them and all I can say is: that's very much predatory. It's actually like the "artist" is the customer, not the creator!
LEGIT magazines and galleries MAKE you money, not TAKE your money.

+ Where are the official rules of your fake contest ? Impossible to found them, and surprisingly no answer from you about that.

Scam

Scam. Offers free exposure in first email. Second email, they demand money. Waste of time.

Stay away!

Warning: 1340Art Magazine is SCAM.

Today, I experienced something no designer/artist should have to experience. A company that dwells on scamming up and coming artists, making them PAY just to publish their OWN work (making you pay $30 upfront for submissions), but nothing happens, months of waiting to find out that they were just scammed. They are preying on small artists.

There are YouTube videos and a Reddit thread about them. Do your research and guarantee where every penny of your money goes.Do not be blinded by their amount of FOLLOWERS on their Social Media for that does not equate their legitimacy. They're claiming they are from the Netherlands but they are actually in Atlanta. If you've been tapped by their "curators" on Instagram/LinkedIn please block or report IMMEDIATELY.

This so called company has gone to some length to appear legit and its very convincing. 10/10 for deceptiveness...
They contacted me on Instagram but suddenly I need to pay in order to have work recognised. Just search 1340 on Instagram and other negative reviews online and you will see that they have many Instagram accounts all with different 'curators'. When I replied to the 2nd email they sent me I received an automatic message explaining that the email address for Lisa harris art curator doesn't even exist!
