Cancelled on my daughter due toner getting a phone call or any email about having to connect the named driver tto the device even though the named driver was not present to connect to device, surely a phone call would of been suffice and now she has to pay £150 of charges. Would never recommend

Incredibly frustrating and annoying trying to communicate on the phone. Been with them for over 2 years having insured 3 vehicles. High increase in insuring latest vehicle and when cancelling after 18 days charging exorbitant fees with no refund for remaining days of insurance prepaid.

Infuriating customer service
For the privilege of having some dopey scooter driver hit my stationary car, my insurance policy is going up. Fine, I'll take the hit again. 1st Central says it will expire, so I need to pay the extra amount. Nowhere on their website does it say where I can input those payment details.
So I use the web chat. But they can't access my account.
So I call, waiting in line for 30 minutes. And the person on the end of the phone cannot help. I watch this particular call time tick past 1 hour and now I'm just bored. It won't take my card for payment over the phone. They can't let me pay via the web. What is the point? What an archaic, annoying, incompetent service.
THEN they email me to tell me that my payment hasn't gone through.
A massive waste of time, all for the privilege of paying the company more. Unbelievably poor customer service and user experience.
