I had to catch problems that should have been caught before 24/7 called the work complete
I hired 24/7 for an overhead sewer conversion. The experience left me repeatedly checking their work and asking them to correct issues.
The work did not pass multiple plumbing inspections. I also encountered an unsealed opening at the ejector, a missing pit-cover gasket and sewer odor. Beyond those issues, I found excessive drill holes in the wall when they were trying to locate a stud, purple primer dripped on the wall, hanging excess strapping and I questioned sediment in a floor drain. A smoke detector had been covered during the work. They opened and failed to close a ground level window (no screen) when they left for the day.
I sent management a detailed email about my concerns and did not receive a response. To be fair, a separate boiler issue turned out to be unrelated to their work, and 24/7 repaired it at no charge.
My concern is the pattern: the wrong pump was installed, a required outlet was missing when the crew said the job was complete, inspections failed, and I was left to identify and pursue corrections. For a major project in my home, that experience destroyed my confidence in the company. I have no idea if this work was performed correctly.
