Carried out body repair for scuff and dents. Great friendly service and a superb body job. All done in time scale advised
Raja Ahsan is running a scam. I gave him my Run and Drive car to repair a timing chain and turbo fault. Instead, he kept the car and charged me nearly £4,000 for a full engine rebuild, including a new timing chain. He provided no receipts or invoices—only WhatsApp messages.
When the car was ready, he asked me to collect it at 1am. He did not provide any paperwork at handover and promised to send the invoice and warranty the next day. Since then, I have repeatedly chased him for invoices and warranties, but he has stopped responding.
The most concerning issue is that the car was returned to me with the engine management light (EML) on and a knocking noise. He told me the light would go off after driving and instructed me to do two oil changes, one every 100 miles, which I did. However, the EML and knocking noise never went away.
After delivery, he stopped answering my calls and messages. When I contacted him from a friend’s number, he answered immediately and then told me it would cost an additional £650 to fix the EML, claiming it was related to something he had not touched during the engine rebuild.
I then had the car diagnosed by a local garage, who confirmed that the timing chain had never been replaced and that continuing to drive the car could cause serious engine damage. I am now being quoted another £2,000 to redo the same work, after already paying him nearly £4,000.
Please be cautious and avoid this scam.
