A great site for finding travel buddies and travel tips, especially for Asia. I've using 43km for a few trips, so far so good!
I used 43km recently to find a travel buddy for Asia, as recommended by a friend of mine. The site is easy to use, I can filter travelers based on a few criteria, overall it is better designed than some old travel sites. I'll use 43km again for my future trips for sure. They also have a tour bidding service, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
I was looking for a travel buddy and stumbled upon 43km. It's a great platform that connects travelers, the site's quite intuitive to use. They also offer competitive tours directly from local guides in South East Asia who bid for your vacation, very cool idea I must say!
A friend recommended 43km.co as I was looking for a travel buddy for Cambodia and Vietnam. Pretty cool site, has real-time chat built in. They have an integrated service where not only you can search for a travel buddy, you could also share travel stories or connect with local guides (they currently only support Asian countries though). Just came back from my trip, can't wait to hit the road again!

My husband and I booked a last minute Bali tour with 43km. We were already there and had an extra day and didn't like any of the tours our resort was offering. 43km sent us offers from 3 different guides and they were all super responsive in answering our questions and putting together a tour for us. We really wanted something authentic and less touristy as we've been there before. The driver and guide picked us up the next day and took us to Denpasar and told us a lot about the culture and took us to places that only a local would know.

Found my awesome travel sister on 43km.co! We had a great time traveling in South East Asia. There's a simple form to fill out on the site to understand your travel preferences such as gender, age group, destination, travel dates, etc. Then you can browse the list of travelers that match your preferences. You also get notified when someone sends you a message. You can remove your travel plan anytime so other members can't find you anymore. I like the overall experience, the site can even connect travelers with local tour guides. I recommend 43km to any travel enthusiast!
