Had a bmw x3 screen was defective…

Had a bmw x3 screen was defective contacted dealer they wanted over 2000 . Went to Canada to visit a friend while there found this shop . The changed screen much better resolution and features. Great customer service. And staff had seating area so I could do work . Cost was good especially installation cost was just 250 Canadian. Contacted shops in my area they wanted 450 up USD . Can’t complain happy with results especially apple car play

I wasted over $1000 with this company

I wasted over $1000 with this company. I bought the device to upgrade my 2012 Porsche Panamera. Initially it worked great and I enjoyed the product. However after a couple of months the sound stopped transmitting. I briefly switched back to the old unit to confirm it wasn’t an issue with the cars speakers and it wasn’t. When I messaged the company they had me send one video after another to prove it was an issue with their product. At times they took weeks to respond. Eventually they told me to send the product back so they can try and fix it. I was told that I was the one responsible for paying to ship it back, which for a product this heavy to send from California to Canada was $100. Furthermore, I was told that the one year warranty would not be extended further, and it became clear that they were taking their time in responding to try and run out the clock on the warranty. Absolute worst experience, they really need to do much better.

Avoid these people at all cost!

DO NOT buy from this company if you are expecting any customer support after the sale. They were extremely prompt and helpful to assist you before the sale but once problems with the unit arise, they will completely ignore you. They are pathetic and will not respond to any emails you send them no matter how many times you do. Why have a tech support email address then? Most buyers are not located in Canada and it's difficult to call internationally. I'm in the U.S. and totally regret buying from them. I later found out their units are manufacturered in China and can be bought directly from the manufacturer on TEMU or AliExpress at a fraction of the cost. Exactly the same units!I can assure you that you will receive better after the sale service from them. Please avoid this company at all cost and thank me later.

You can't trust this company

You can't trust this company. I installed a multimedia unit and a dash cam, and after three months they stopped working properly. The system display would turn on 20 minutes after startup and turn off 5 minutes after leaving the car. I tried to resolve this issue with them for several months (they had no solution, then no response from the manufacturer). They eventually replaced the entire system. The camera is a different story. It turns on when the engine starts and records video for one minute and saves it to the card, but mine turns on and off every 10 seconds. Technicians from 4*4 said the warranty has expired and you can buy a new one. Don't waste your time and money with this company.

This seller is completely unprofessional

This seller is completely unprofessional and their goods are of low quality. Their technical support is horrible and I feel there are sellers that far more better in quality and service than 4X4Shop Canada. Please do your research before making any purchase from this organization.

Workable product if you are ok with crap quality, horrible guides.

The product was as ordered, it had everything needed to rewire my car and add a larger screen, reverse camera and android auto/carplay.
The problem is with their install guides. They have incomplete videos AND images. The guides did not have enough information because it was generalized to a an almost 10 year era of almost all vehicles from a brandl. The guide did not even tell me to disconnect the battery (A MUST FOR THIS TO PREVENT DAMAGE).

The product fails for the price because it is cheap products from China that is upcharged. The screen would not stay in place, the 1080P camera was worse than the 480p stock camera, the install pictures/videos were completely useless and the support is nearly non-existant taking a full week to get a response that required me to repeat items sent in the orignal request. When I got the item to work with everything in my car torn appart on auxillary mode, it promptly stopped after full install and startup while I smelt burning wires.

Don't worry, their return policy is they only return unopened boxes within 14 days.

I knew I should have cancelled my order as soon as they asked me for a new address because it shipped from China, because they could not ship to my address.

Terrible experience with this company

Terrible experience with this company. When you pay $600+ for a product you expect a reasonable service. I purchased an INAV Android and Apple Carplay screen. The only help I got was for a different car model and for a different screen size. The product was delivered without problem but for the installation, setup and usage you are on your own. I picked this provider under the assumption that Canada is just there, North from where I am, so I have a better chance to meet my expectations. It didn't happen. Trying to get some support on their web site, my order # is not recognized.

Their warranty is bad

I bought a screen. After a few month the problem with the screen started. I wrote the support. Now 1 year later and with the warranty avoid they say it is a hardware failure buy a new screen.
