Liars, Cheaters and Real Time Scumbags

My 1 Star rating is far too generous in this matter, either to 50 Stars Auto Parts and or to the State Of Texas A.G.’s Office!

I thought the Texas Attorney General’s Office in Texas were there to be honorable, representing, all people, not selectively, just some, to go after, Fraud and Criminal behavioral actions demonstrated by 50 Stars Auto Parts, against me and so many other victims.

The Attorney General’s Office is not doing so. Their ruling decisions in this matter is reprehensible!

Probable Cause is staring the Attorney General’s Office directly in their eyes, yet their complicity, by not taking up this matter at all, attributes to the malfeasance and emboldens them not to act at all. Their inaction is duly noted.

I paid for an ABS Anti Lock Braking…

I paid for an ABS Anti Lock Braking Pump (With Module) for a 2011 Cadillac. After taking it to my mechanic I found out it was for a 2014 and didn't work. I called to return it. They called my mechanic twice (I was there) and the mechanic told them it did NOT work and the shop had to order a new one. I received a letter saying they closed the case because they were told by my mechanic that they installed 50 Star's part and gave me the old part. LIES!!!!! I AM SHIPPING THEIR PART BACK NOT THE OLD ONE. THEY ARE REFUSING MY REFUND.

SCAM!!!

SCAM!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. I ordered a part from this company. They called me and told me they were sending emails I needed to open with links to accept terms and contracts before the part would be shipped. I had never heard of having to do this before (I order parts online regularly for work). I felt that it was a scam and requested a refund. They told me that I would be refunded within 3-5 days. I did not get a refund and tried multiple attempts to contact the company. I then filed a dispute with my bank and they almost immediately called me. They said they couldn't refund to the original form of payment and demanded I give them my bank account info or another payment method. I did not do this. They then said they could send refund through zelle, which I provided zelle info. They did give the refund. Then immediately called me and told me that they sent too much and that I needed to send it back using a different account. I did NOT receive too much of a refund, I received what I paid. They kept trying to tell me I needed to send them back the money and tried getting me to use a separate form of payment. I, of course, didn't do this and ended up just cancelling all of my cards.

Scam artist

First they suck at communication. The way they go about things makes it seem like a scam. After receiving the 1st part it showed up damaged and unusable. They took thier time sending a replacement and kept asking for pictures from different angles clearly trying to get out of replacing the part that arrived damaged. Once I got the replacement it was supposed to come flashed to my car as they state it's a plug and play service, give them your vin and they will flash it so ypu can just put it to your vehicle. When I called with my concern that they did not do that they said I have to go have it flashed at a shop. What did I pay for then? A used part off a car in a junkyard that I can't even use without spending extra money that according to thier site I would not need to do. I then sent the part back as that's not what they said it was and once they got it they claimed it's not thier part
Where else did I get the part from? These guys are scammers and con artist. Do not do business with them or you will be put money and time.

50 stars auto parts scam

Ordered a preprogrammed ABS module. Ask more than once if it was truly plug an play and was assured that it was. Well it wasn't and their response was I didn't have the correct software to overwrite the vin. Still wouldn't admit that it wasn't q wpreprogrammed but ford assured me it wasn't. Finally they offered to refund $85 for programming but then the valve was found faulty and agreed to take it back but then crickets. Stopped replying and wouldn't give me any return info. It's a scam through and through. They're just brokering salvage yard parts.

SCAMMERS!!!

SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
I ordered and ABS module, they took my money quick, they called back the next day and said they accidentally refunded me and needed to charge my card again, I said nope and that there was no refunds on my account, they sent me an email with a transaction ID and said to verify with my bank, I called my bank and they laughed. They said they shipped my part multiple times but never would produce a tracking number. I filed a BBB complaint and a dispute with my bank, that you to my credit union for reversing this charge.
These guys are scammers do not buy from them!!!

They sent the wrong part, initiated return process and they ghosted me.

I ordered an ABS Pump and Module for my 2009 Audi A5. I gave them specific part number that the dealership said that I needed, no other subcodes will work.

I spoke with the representative that assured me the part was REMANUFACTURERED, an that I would receive the exact part number, and we went over the part number over the phone. I received an invoice for that exact part#, etc.

Later that week, I received the incorrect part, different part number and it was actually older version than what my car already had, it was boxed nicely. The part received was NOT remanufactured one bit - it looks like someone ran to a pick and pull yard, and just cut the brake lines and packaged it up. There are no indications of testing or cleaning.

After I call to initiate a return since they did not send me the right part, they started to argue with me that it was a good part and that I should install it and let them know what failure codes pop up, if anything, and then the mechanic will advise me. I said no, I'd rather return the part. Which they said they would charge me a restocking fee, FOR SENDING ME THE WRONG PART? WHAT THE??

Finally they say that they WILL refund me, and that I do NOT hhave to return the part. They would send me an email stating everything. - I have never heard from them again.

After constant calls and emails - if they do pick-up from a different number, I give them the case# for the return, and then they give some BS that their team member for returns is not there right now to perform it, and that I will get an email within a few days. Lies lies lies.

Don't fall for their nice website and decent pricing. They say that parts are remanufactured and they for sure arent, and they do not send the right parts! good luck getting your money back.

Wrong company, My problem is with 50 Stars Auto Parts. I ordered a ABS module a week ago (on a Friday). I was told it would ship by Monday because it had to be programmed. I called on Wednesday, Thursday & this Friday. I keep being told a tracking number will be emailed to me. Today, I waited over 1/2 hr for a tracking number & told UPS never picked it up yesterday. This sounds like BS to me especially since they won’t give me a tracking number. My UPS account shows no labels made to me. What does that say about the honesty of 50 Stars Auto Parts. I’ll keep you posted.

A PLACE YOU CAN'T TRUST. e problem is their quality control.

The problem is their quality control.
They sent me a rusted inside and out ABS module and the fellow I talked to said he looked at it before sending it, which really got my ire because it was such a blood face lie. Then he said to have the rusted part diagnosed before
returning which meant my mechanic would have had to install the decrepit
ABS module.... Which no saying mechanic would do because it would be a waste of time and they are unwilling to pay for the diagnostics on it even though they sent me an ABS module that didn't work because moisture had gotten into it and that's how it rusted.
The way for this company to improve would be to send a working product out and not to lie about the shape that the product was in and also back up their warranties.
