Stay far away!

I rent cars since the last 30 + years and this is one of the worse company I ever found:
They act unethically and scamming the people: they force you to purchase their insurance telling that if you do not buy you can be in risk to pay huge extra money for every minimum scratch, obviously, if you do not buy the insurance, they will find some minimal scratch at the moment of your return. Moreover, their insurance is nothing less that a simple paper (no insurance names, no details at all). They will charge you also huge extra money for highway toll you may have passed with their device installed in any car (also that without any specific details).
People, be aware and stay away from this company, even if you can see a good feedback from Google... they are fake feedback!

Probably the worse placed to rent a…

Probably the worse placed to rent a Vehicle! I was promised a Mercedes or similar and given a Peugeot van instead.

On top of that the people working here were very useless and the service was dreadful.

I was given a dirty Van and with no petrol in the tank.

I was also promised a 14 business day refund on my deposit and its been past this date and no one is answering my whatsapp messages or calls.

They have stolen my 1000 euro deposit.

This place should be shut down for woeful customer service and stealing from customers! How can a business run like this, I dont know.

NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!

SCAM

SCAM! It was hands down the WORST car renting experience, I had ever had in my life. These people are just trying to rip you off. They do not honour the online bookings. They find issues with everything regarding the booking and ask for more money to fix it. They did not have the car we booked and instead of apologising they offered a worse car as a replacement and said it was better. It was clearly the cheaper car on their website. The people who work there are rude and not helpful at all. There are other companies around so go rent from them rather than these scammers

Bunch of gungsters 724 rental

One of the worse rental company I dealt with it has been a month since I returned the car without any damage and till now haven’t received my deposit,every time I contact them they have reason why they delayed my payment and now they even don’t answer my maseges ,my bank is dealing with them and I will get my deposit but this s 724 rental is a bunch of gungsters trying their best to steal people never trust them and avoid them even for free

They most un relabel un trusted company had to deal in my whole life.attracting fools with low price & fancy promises …never deliver & 24/7 customer service it’s far from true
My personal advise do not get yourself in trouble with them…take your business somewhere else
Long story short; booked my Premium Insurance & the car from the CarJet..charge me twice 177 € &169 €,then refunded me minus -44€, had punctured wheel must be replaced at 724Rent as instructed ..charged with 300€…found out in claiming the amount from the insurance Co. that my P insurance was canceled …more the 34 emails been forwarded between me & the insurance different office ( Do Spain, Do Malta, Orchard & insurance-doyouinsurance) No solid response been secured..finally they came up with story accusing & blaming me for the cancellation!!! Because I did reply to email from there side …adding my flight details for easy collection of the rented car.
The 724Rent been aware of No insurance status …refused to accepting the car 5 days earlier to pre sat rental period ..never offer alternative & charged me with 2300€ for window shield already existed scratch & other thing …3 Hrs of negotiation & I had to call the Embassy hotline finally accepted 300€..& the no refund been made to my 500€ security deposit nor refund the 5 days not used fees
Consultation: payed twice for insurance,-44 € evaporated, forced to accept Fiat’s out shape car, charged additional 600€ , no refund for 500€ deposit , no refund of not used 10 days, no Professional response from the insurance-doyouinsurance.plus Malta,Spain,UK offices, so much time wasted in communicating with multi parties….,other word my vacation is F…Up

Scammer company

Scammer company! Never return our deposit of 1000Euro! Their office is not even at the airport as well. Wasting our time had to follow them to go to their office, plus the car was not ready and got broken parts. When we returned the car, they blame us for everything even when we’ve highlighted the issues before we collected the car in the first place. Luckily, we took a photo but anyway, they still do not return our deposit since May 2023. Boycott this scammer company! Never book with them when you’re in Turkey!

Firstly the rental location is 15…

Firstly the rental location is 15 minutes drive out of istanbul airport. You have to wait until getting picked up, they then take you to the middle of nowhere to a big parking lot with a shipping container where you receive keys and the car. We paid 450€ deposit on the car in September 2023 that day. We still havent received the money back and it's now end of January 2024. The rental company is not check24 or OtoQ although i booked via Check24. DO NOT BOOK WITH 724RENT even when you book via Check24 or OtoQ! They are a bunch of scammers!

Avoid them, not worth it!

Avoid them, not worth it!

We were renting their car for more than one year for business, with the similar experience than others. We got a car at airport with gas tank almost empty. Car was ok for about a month, until winter came and half inch of snow. Tiers were so bad that we couldn't drive not to risk an accident. We complained, drove the car to Sabiha Gokcen office and got a new car. Of course with empty tank and not the same rank!

One day they called us and said we need to return the car due to scheduled maintenance. And I think not coincidently just after we fill a full tank of gas. They might be also manipulating with the data received from the gas stations. Remember they are collecting the license plate number on every station prior to filling up. Anyway we got a new car with an empty tank again, with the similar rank than the first car.

On the drop-off day we cleaned the car in the car wash half a way to the airport. It was still shining when we arrived there. We signed the papers asked for €500 deposit back, and they said it will be returned in a couple of days. Days went into weeks, weeks into months and we still haven't received money back. We contacted them numerous times until they suddenly stopped responding on WhatsApp.

We started calling the CarJet service located in Spain - the online service we made a booking with, and all we could achieve so far (after almost 7 months!) is that 724rent issued us an invoice for about €200 for car cleaning (about half of this price) and motorway tolls. In addition we spent more than €100 so far calling the CarJer in Spain and they also deserve 0 stars since their answer is every time the same: "We will contact them and let you know the feedback." Ok, once they actually sent us an email with print screen from 724rent of fake return statement for about €300 with no date, no refund bank account/card number and no bank the refund was made from, what a joke! At least CarJet could do is to remove 724rent from their service due to so many negative reviews. By doing nothing they clearly sate they support scamming companies like 724rent.

I strongly recommend not to use 724rent if you don't want to have a headache during your holidays in Turkey. Avoid also CarJet because they simply don't care.

A bunch of thieves running a rental…

A bunch of thieves running a rental company. Absolutely pathetic customer service. If you give them your deposit then you are not getting it back. They charged me 200 Euros for car cleaning and there was barely anything in the car to clean as I have dusted and cleaned everything myself. They are robbers so stay away.

Horrible service

It took about 1 hour to get the car and they gave us a car with an empty tank which didn't even get us to the gas station, we were standing beside the highway with kids for about 2 hours till someone got there with a gallon of fuel.
On drop off, I gave back the car with a half full tank and someone expected all the car and agreed that there was no problem with it. they said that my deposit (which was cash) was not available at that moment and I had to wait 1 hour for someone to bring it!! since I was getting late for my flight I asked for the security deposit to be refunded to my payment card, and surprisingly they deposited back with some amount deducted!
overall I recommend you find another rental service. this was my first experience of renting a car and it was too much trouble with them which made it not worth it.

The worst experience with a rental car office

The worst experience in my life with this rental office 724Rent:
Turkey/Istanbul airport

On the pick up day they gave me a smaller car even I booked a sidan one and when I rejected it they offered a car in their second office that is far one hour from their office and said we can take the car and drive it to that office and replace it, when we arrived to the second office they gave a car has many scratches on the car with empty tank that we needed to search first to a gas station before the car stop of working.

On the drop off day they claimed that the car has a new scratch and that we need to pay 350 euro for these scratches (they collect money for these small scratches and never fix it, 350 euro from each customer which is a very profitable business).

Today is 15 days since we delivered the car and left the country and we still didn't get our deposit back even though that we made sure to pay everything such as toll roads fees on the delivery day so we get our deposit fully.

When we call them they keep saying we don't speak English. And they reply on messages after we call them many times only, then they give wrong information about the deposit.

First they said it takes 2 days, then they said 1 week, and last they said 2 weeks and nothing happened nor received our deposit.

When we called them after 15 days they said we are busy with 3 clients now and can't reply to you.

Until this moment we are waiting for our deposit.

absolutely disappointed

I am writing this review to warn potential customers about my dreadful experience with 724Rent car rentals in Turkey. My holiday turned into a nightmare due to the unreliability of the vehicle and the sheer lack of customer support.

I had rented a car for my vacation, expecting a smooth and convenient experience. Unfortunately, the car broke down in the middle of my trip. I immediately contacted 724Rent for assistance and expected them to either fix the car or provide an alternative. To my dismay, I received no response whatsoever.

Stranded and stressed, I had no option but to find another rental company and rent a new car to get myself back to the airport. This led to unexpected expenses and significant inconvenience, completely ruining the remainder of my holiday.

To add insult to injury, 724Rent stopped replying to my WhatsApp messages. I even requested a refund for the days I could not use the vehicle and for the costs incurred due to their service failure. Once again, I was met with complete silence.

I have never encountered such an irresponsible and unprofessional service. If you're looking to rent a car in Turkey, I strongly recommend avoiding 724Rent. Their complete lack of customer care and unreliable vehicles can potentially ruin your trip, as it did mine.

I am absolutely disappointed and outraged by my experience. Zero stars if I could.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your car rental needs.

Worst

For me , I rented cars in many countries in the world , the worst one was from724 , the problem started when they convinced me through car discovery to pay extra money for full insurance but in their office they forced me to sign a paper to pay money for any thing happened to the car, second problem that one guy came late to take me feom the airport to their office more than 10 minutes away geom the airport, third issue the deposit: they I contrary to others took 200 Euros, and refunded only 61 Euro, when they received the car he checked it spot by spot,

Their office is not at the location as written on their website. It is at a weird place with gates and security guards. Reaching out to them on the phone was also a problem. After a long wait at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport, finally, a rude agent came and picked us up.

They were insulting and threatening when I rejected the junk car they tried to give me. It had more than 100,000 km on it with all kinds of scratches, dents, missing hub caps, with a crack on the windshield. They said all their fleet cars were maintained regularly. The gas tank was empty, and the tires were flat. They still forced us to buy the "mandatory insurance" although we had purchased it online. Then they asked us for the leave security deposit, which was never returned despite many phone calls and messages. Eventually, they stopped responding.
After returning the car, they said everything was OK. However, the security deposit was never returned. We lost so much money, they stressed us, and we were threatened. It is sad to see this kind of crooks running car rental companies and making easy money on desperate tourists. Also, read their Google reviews carefully -- you will realize most (maybe all) of the positive ones are fake. Please report these to Google.

Very bad experience

1. On 7 August we go to the address indicated in the booking voucher at Istanbul airport but there is no desk dedicated to 724 rent, only thanks to the kindness of a flight attendant who called customer service speaking Turkish we discover that after several minutes someone would have arrived to pick us up, to take us to a garage about 15 minutes from the airport.
2. The approach of the staff, once we arrive at the collection point, immediately appears a bit scam, they try to saddle us with upgrades of all kinds, also informing us that the total coverage purchased with the "discover cars" broker is not valid, that in case of damage we would have had to pay and then refer to the broker for a refund.
3. When paying, my debit card apparently refused payment, I tried another with the same result. Let's try with my fiancée's card, however if the card doesn't belong to the holder of the reservation, there is a supplement of €5/day, for a total of €60 more. Same bank, same circuit, magically this one worked.
4. The time comes for the delivery of the car, we begin to get annoyed with this whole process, they tell us that to accommodate us they will give us a car with an automatic transmission for the same price, the car has a huge crack that runs through the entire front windshield. Since we don't consider the vehicle safe, we ask to have the car we asked for, with a manual gearbox, but the car isn't there, they want to convince us that the car they are giving us is safe and can therefore travel safely. We firmly oppose it and in the end they send us to another depot of theirs 70km away where we change the car and finally get a car in good condition and apparently functional.
5. After 50km the ad Blue light comes on and we fill it up at our own expense.
6. During our rental, the car reaches 20,000 km and the oil light comes on. To speed up the processes and thinking of doing what we like, we stop at the first petrol station and top up the oil, needless to say we haven't been refunded because "we had to call support and go to an authorized service center, so we wouldn't have to pay".
7. The time comes for the return, fortunately given the hint we were very careful not to damage the car, which thank goodness passed a very accurate check (we still had videos and photos taken at the beginning of the rental).
8. return of the 100 euro deposit that we left in cash (they pushed us to pay it in cash because "this way it is returned to you immediately when you deliver the car"): we knew that the money from the toll booths would be deducted from this, the bill it is promptly presented to us: 60 euros. We therefore ask that we be explained what these 60 euros are made up of, which we would have been willing to pay, although it seemed a bit steep to us given that we only took the motorway for a small part of the journey and at the toll booths you can see the amounts paid (we expected about 25 euros less).
We are told that the information comes from the head quarter which has access to the license plate data, so there is no way to see the movements associated with the price they communicated to us. If we want to know them, we have to write an email to customer service and ask for the motorway movements connected to the license plate (this, however, only after paying what they have requested).
Furthermore, the 40 euros difference, they don't have them available in cash, so they will be returned to the card that made the payment, hopefully...
9. Following our complaints relating to the lack of transparency of the point above, the impatient operator tells us that we should rest a little calm, as he has waived the 20 euro penalty for not having returned the car cleaned and washed, yes, he waves the contract we signed under his nose, where there is precisely this clause which he obviously failed to highlight during the rental phase.
