On 3/14/26 I set up an account hoping to subscribe to their newsletter. This came with a charge of $2, and then I hoped to finally see their subscription options. All I saw was in fine print that they would auto-renew for $299, and I unchecked that when I saw it. Then I was flagged as inactive. Nowhere could I see pricing and plans. I sent two messages asking for more information but they were ignored. This treatment is an insult to potential customers, and now I would trust nothing from them. They should stop this practice and provide more information.

IF ZERO STARS was an option, that is the rating aaii.com deserves! They have malicious unfair business practices and charge you before the 30-day trial they sell for $3 is over. They charged me $498 ten (10) days before the trial was over. My only choice is to dispute the charge with American Express since I can't get anyone to call me back.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! There are so many other great sites that provide better information and have a real customer service department in place to serve a customer. I have all the proof of everything and I've documented it well. I'm going to find every online review possible and help others not make the same mistake.

I believe my problem with AAII has been resolved. They have been a value over the years.

Provides lots of helpful data for evaluating potential investments in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, EFTs. However, the customer service and website organization simply sucks. I never received any response to phone or email inquiries (either by web or regular email). The outgoing call line puts you on perpetual hold, with reminders every 25 seconds that you can leave a message (however, I've never received any response from any messages left).

The AAII site is like one of those dating sites with multiple levels. Not worth 49$ . You would have to spend hundreds of dollars to get the information you need on your portfolio. Site didn't work well either. I'm hoping they canceled my account.

My experience with AAII is souring very quickly.

I subscribed to their trial service initially. I thought the additional portfolio trials were add-ons and not full subscriptions (my fault), so I did those too. During the trial, I was very impressed with the content, and I liked how they managed the portfolio, so I decided to go with a lifetime membership.

A few days later I log into my account and see I have well over $1,000 in outstanding invoices from what I am to be billed after the trials, despite cancelling them.

I was interested in the other portfolios with their Platinum service, which was offered to me as a $109 add-on for the first year. I thought sure why not and click the button. Without any sort of shopping cart or purchase confirmation, I'm immediately charged $526.

I tried calling support numerous times over several days and it just goes to voicemail.

I'll give them one or two more business days, but if I don't get this resolved I'm just going to cancel all the services and dispute the charges with my credit card company. It will be hard to trust their content with their online purchase experience being shady at best.

I prefer to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt as mistakes and issues happen. If my issue is adequately addressed, I'll revise this review accordingly. But my advice right now is to tread very carefully in dealing with them.

I am a fully paid up member of AAII. I recently emailed an inquiry to customer service. Several days later, without having received a reply, I got one of those "How did we do?" surveys. I filled out the survey, with the lowest rating, noting that I'd never received a reply. I then resent my email inquiry. A few days later I have still received no reply. I checked my spam folder, nothing there. This is not the first time that I've experienced AAII treating paying customers like dog droppings. Their customer service is the worst.

Website is difficult to navigate.

Gotta be a scam. Reviewed $2 and $3 offers. Dug deep on cancellation details before OK. Read that I needed to call a #312 number to cancel. Did. No person available. Left voice mail about cancellation subject. Still no phone reply. No internet cancellation option. This service smells of scam to me.

Very questionable experience. I was close to signing up but tried to do a trial cancellation. Turns out you need to telephone it in. So I called customer service. Forced to leave a voice message and mentioned “cancellation.” Still waiting for a call back. Forget it guys. You failed a simple test.

I was a member but it lapsed, they then sent me links for various courses but with discounts. I went on line and a glitch in their system resulted in 5 payments being taken instead of one.
I emailed and eventually the reversed 3 and then emailed again and they reversed 1 and I was left was 1 to view the video but they couldn't supply the link. I emailed to just get a refund and have had neither the courtesy of a reply or a refund. To be clear the error was in their system.

They offer you a 30 days trial for only $2 but even if you opt-out of the "auto-renew" option you will pay $149 for just one year subscription of A+ investor.
I send emails to their customer service and never received an answer.
Don't put your credit card on their page or you will pay far more than $2.
There is no way to contact someone directly from your client account.
Pure SCAM!!!

A gem, but generally unknown resource for the serious UK investor. Don 't expect guidance for what specific investments to make but more the investment approaches which can be used and things to consider.
