Charged for a soiled sheet, did not return and I suspect much worse.
This company provides services for short terms stays. While I found that the information I was required to fill out first burdensome. It was not until after the stay I had a problem. The property was owned by a third party.
After I left, I received a charge for $27 for a bedsheet. The company claimed that some light stains from a wound had ruined the sheet. I asked for a picture after washing and they could not provide it, nor could I come pick up the soiled sheet. They claimed it was discarded but wouldn't say where.
The timing of the interaction was such that I don't think they even tried to wash the sheet.
It is my belief that the soiled sheet was conveyed to a third party for informational purposes. Much of our health can be determined by blood samples and they don't need much these days.
So I ask. Would you want your AirBnb to have your DNA, blood type, or any malady evident in blood? Along with all our other biometric information?
To me a person who would steal a sheet would be on the out look to make money any way they could. Look at their list of clients.
People soil sheet and hotels wash them. What they are up to is obvious
